I'm trying to not lose interest with the Tales series. I've played many of them leading up to Graces, which is my favourite. Then Xillia really dragged, Xillia 2 became a grindfest, and Zestiria just... wasn't very good. So after three Tales games in a row that I couldn't bare to finish, I really want this one back on form.
Only once have I found a game on Wii or Wii U that needs motion controls enjoyable to play (it was the Wii version of RE4). That and many things noted in the review besides tells me that I wouldn't enjoy this iteration of SF in the slightest.
@LonelyStep: These are just the slightly tighter version of the same controls almost everyone hated at E3 last year. But regardless of the score Peter gave, it sounds like the review is telling us both that this is a no buy.
This is exactly what I was hoping it would be. I don't want exclusives and features over those that are happy with their current PS4. I just want to be able to play my exclusives at 60fps like I can on my PC. I'd take a mode on my current PS4 to lower the graphics settings to achieve a decent frame rate over new hardware, but if I have to pay for better gameplay, I will.
In 20 years of PS ownership I don't think I ever heard of the MVP program? And by the comments it seems I am far from alone in this state of ignorance.
@Dark_sageX: Go into option menu / key-bindings and at the very bottom is an unbound option that allows you to toggle the time thing on/off. Only works with m/k, not controller. But then you can play in real time, and toggle time back on to do complicated things like precision manouevers whilst placing traps. The game is much better that way.
A lot of the feedback in the forums is about the time mechanic. Without being able to observe movement you lose alot of information in a stealth game, and the demo does a complete non-job of explaining to the player what the benefit of having this annoying system always on is, if there is one. So I'll be interested to see how they run with it at launch. I would at least hope they let players know that there is a toggle for it, and it is bound by default.
