@xXxKTTxXx: It's basically guaranteed that if you attempt sarcasm online most people who scan your post will think, 'wow, that guys a moron'. But it's worth it. But, hell, if you're gonna go retard, definitely go full retard, eh?

@snogglethorpe: There was a leaked document that put the development costs in the range of $20 million. A leak like that isn't much better than hearsay, necessarily, but it would still easily make it Miyazaki's most expensive game, as he managed to make DeS and DkS on shoe-string budgets. From is a pretty thrifty studio.

@brn-dn: As far as I'm concerned the only decent thing Gearbox have ever done is ask Telltale to turn their shitty shooter into a good game.

@xXxKTTxXx: I managed to squeeze out so much sarcasm, I've bled myself dry.

@IpWitan: I think the discrepancy could be explained by the idea that there is a big difference between the questions, 'Should there be more equitable distribution of wealth', and, 'Should the government actively redistribute wealth'. One is a question of equality or morality, the other of governance.

@InYourMouf: Notice the difference between the number who identify as 'conservative', and the number who voted for the Republican party. If anything that shows that they are actually engaged with what is going on, and a large number of those calling themselves conservative are not happy with what the nominatively conservative party is doing.

Go Ubisoft! Not only has Syndicate given us one of the first playable female lead characters in any videogame (scrap that, probably the first ever!), but PC users (high-end at least) will finally be able to use controllers to play games and rebind keys without messing with ini files. This proves that not only are Ubisoft the most progressive, socially aware company in gaming, but that they are also leading the way in this PC gaming renaissance.

@flames325: It has sold alot more than that. Last figures were at 1.5m retail copies (it passed 1m total copies in 3 weeks), so add digital copies to that. And there was a recent estimate that 40-50% of new-gen console sales were digital. So could be more like 2.3m sales. But also, selling those kind of figures is good when you if you're not spending Square Enix or Ubisoft amounts of money developing your game.

@nurnberg: And Activision-King are perfectly placed to be the ones who come up with, or acquire, that app, too. As it stands, several of the top grossing apps belong to King, not just CC.

@i_p_daily: Whatever you personally think of its games, calling the most profitable publisher in the industry a fool with its money is kinda silly.
