@bannermanner New IP would be in keeping with ND history, and as a developer they sure have both built up enough goodwill for themselves, and shown that a new IP can sell fantastically. They are in a nice position to build something new because of that.
p.s. Not that more of Uncharted wouldn't be great, that series always nails it, but it doesn't seem risky enough for ND. I expect their passions have changed by now.
Whilst I would absolutely love another Uncharted game, Naughty Dog have always started each generation with a new franchise, and there is no one I would trust more to deliver the goods than Naughty Dog.
@Patohua1 Well, I for one have written off ever visiting the United States on account of the frequency with which aliens destroy American cities. I'm glad they always take care of the threat before it spreads, but seriously, who would want to still live there?
@ANUBISZER0 Not long to wait now : ) Unfortunately the games I'm waiting for don't have release dates yet, unless you include Beyond: Two Souls, which is so close it might as well be in the post.
@Arcturuss Well know 3 months since that message, I've played Demon's Souls a couple times, and since playing that I've started to find Dark Souls much more enjoyable. I'm currently messing around before I go do the endgame. I still think Dark suffers for not having the hook that Demon's does. Once you're many hours in the pieces of lore start coming together, but the game doesn't even really have a point until after the second bell.
So yes, it was more that I hadn't played enough yet, nor felt the desire too. I think the game fantastic, but takes a few backwards steps from Demon's Souls along with all the improvements. I hope they get the balance right for DS2.
@Diablo-B Yeah, I've always found GTA characters boring, so it would of been nice if they mixed it up just a little. Now there's three times more leads to not be interested in.
@Brotonomus The closer that MS can get that to launch, the better for the XBox. It's probably the only launch window exclusive that would sway a casul looking to upgrade their hardware this year.

I think I might become the ultimate fanboy, and mindlessly defend one line, from one character in one game, on one console.
The line is, um, 'I don't call you brother cos it sounds cool', by Zeke, Infamous 2, PS3. It's the most meaningful thing to happen to gaming. Try having that experience on your PC.
