New details are emerging of the attack. There indeed seems to be something else behind this, likely an existing armed group that took advantage of an initial protest.
[QUOTE="Ace6301"]Oh look it's the same old sh*t we've been shown the last 11 years. I'm so surprised that this was posted. Alex Jones needs to learn to pick and choose what he thinks is a conspiracy. It's more self-contradictory than the worst fan-fiction at this point. hartsickdiscipl
If you can come up with an intelligent, reasonable explanation for how all these things (and the other hundreds of issues) fit into the official story, feel free to share. Larry Silverstein said on TV that they pulled Building 7 intentionally. End of discussion.
Do you even know what "pull" means in this context? Regardless of what you see from these sources, it does not refer to demolition but rather withdrawing firefighting efforts. And no matter what it means, why would he potentially let loose hints of such a plot on TV, especially since it is only supposed to involve a few people with any direct knowledge?
[QUOTE="champion837"] Im just pointing out the flaw in your logic. You wouldnt say that we superior to those countries even though we do have a a society that is more "free" than those countries. It shows how much you think you are better than the people in the middle east.champion837
so you think a regional culture that values slaughtering people because of different ideas is equal and should be respected? you need a moral check
Those were extremists, not the culture as a whole. Or are you saying that most of the people in the middle east are murderers.
You can drive this point home even further with the fact that the U.S. embassy is in Tripoli, not Benghazi. Yet that mission was not attacked. I have also said prior that Benghazi in particular has been the victim of some sustained level of violence for the last year, and Eastern Libya has for years been a recruiting ground for armed groups, some to oppose Gaddafi and some to go overseas to fight in theatres like Iraq.

The worst wars/theatres of war of our time have rarely invoked religion to any meaningful degree. Rhetoric and propoganda, yes, but the fighting goes on regardless.
People have justified wars in the past, and many wars have gone on because two religions couldn't pray quietly, or at least respect each other. They're children, arguing over which of their imaginary friends are real, yet none have any legitimate evidence.
Fascism, communism, democracy, capitalism, etc. Those seem to be the 4 big ticket ideologies of international war in the last 70-80 years and they generally have little to do with religion.

when was the last time an atheist knocked on your door at 8am on memorial day while you're trying to sleep and tried to sell you on atheism?? comp_atkins
It's actually not a bad idea, as it would be an opportune way to have fun playing around with the phrase "There are no atheists in foxholes".
I wonder if some atheists do not feel that they are part of some sort of exclusive group. Exclusive in the sense that they think they are smart/open enough to see the fallacies of religion and are thus a level higher.

I'm annoyed by that fact as well, religion would never see itself as some sort of exclusive group. Exclusive in the sense that they think they are superior to anyone else because it is written.
I suppose you can make a case either way. Or that religion or lack thereof is not going to change human nature.
