Why arent there more of them? I understand Indie developers have less money, and because of they focus on delivering a good gameplay experince above having good graphics. But in the year 2012, there are plenty of free or cheap engines such as Cry Engine 3 and Source that have either decent or amazing graphical capabilites. Why dont Indie developers take advantange of these resources more often? I value gameplay over graphics, but there is still a certain point graphically where I cant play it. I'm not asking for amazing groundbreaking graphics, I'm asking for a 2011 or 2012 game to be somewhat appealing to the eye, even by art design.Brean24

Not scary, occationally startling. stressful in an Incredibly fun way. play it coop with friends, its fantastic and frantic and awesome.

A lot of stuff about that game is bad. The story, characters, voice acting etc. all of that stuff is dumb. Some aspsects of the combat and navigation are really cool and interesting though. I its got the best first persion melee combat ive ever played, and that rope Bow is great.

How do you guys feel about it? am i alone?

I prefer farcry 2

farcry 1 is fun, but it feels dated.

farcry 2 has plenty of issues, but playing it permadeath is incredible.

Did you play dragon age 2? those cut and paste areas are unforgivable. also they stripped that game of a lot of its depth.

also, the witcher 2 is probably the best rpg this gen.
