Nostalgia. At least, that's how it looks to me.

This, and fact that 1.6 players have to get used to the changes, and learn how everything works to get good at the game, but since they cant be arsed since they not good at the game, they start talking ahit about GO, then go back to 1.6 since they been playing that for years and are only good at that.

This honestly seems to be the trend. This may be anecdotal evidence, but it's a trend amongst some CS:GO players I cannot ignore. I was in a CS:GO server and a player logged on and claimed this was his first time playing CS:GO. He Immediately just ripped the game to shreds, he was angry there wasn't an MP5 or silencer and automatically just stated, "wow this game is trash I'm going back to 1.6." Henever even gave the game a chance, because it was different from 1.6. I get it, change sucks, but sometimes it is for the better.

I hope Dragon Age III will try and improve the series a bit, 3 things I think they should do:

Messy inventory is just confusing, less items and less equipment to streamline the experience further.

Stats tend to be unnecessary and vague in description. Intelligence? Charisma? Health, damage and defense is all the 3 stats that matters. It is quite frustrating to have too many options.

The exploring should be more streamlined, more linear so that they can build a better experience.

This honestly sounds like D3's development.

No. They weren't. The N64 was the same generation as the PS1, as was the Xbox with the PS2.

Reading isn't the issue. Making sense of whatever you dribbled is the issue.

Not true. I built a pc for $750 about 2 years ago and I can still play games on mid-high setting, (mostly high). Stop talking about things you know nothing about.

More then likely most people are just lying about how much they make to annoy others. The most i've made so far was when i sold a pair of legendary boots@level 14 for 6$-4after their fee. and i couldn't have been happier.

Wasdie

The fact that somebody would pay $6 for an in-game weapon where the whole point of the game is to loot and trade up for better equipment just astounds me.

Man, I'm right there with you. I thought I was the only one! Everywhere I look people are buying up amazing gear in D3. I just dont get it I guess.

I can't stress this enough, but Eve Online is EXACTLY what you're talking about. It's an MMO with one hell of a difficulty curve, but in the end it's absolutely worth it. From what you describe, I think you would really enjoy it!

I didn't stop playing Diablo 3 due to lack of levels.JKnaperek

I love the idea behind addressing small issues and ignoring huge ones. I'm going to give the patch a try, but I'm not expecting much. The game is so poorly made it hurts.

[QUOTE="SKaREO"][QUOTE="HyperWarlock"]

Diablo 3 was hyped to hell and back. Everybody wanted this Diablo 2 clone with better graphics and to have all of the same content and experiences as Diablo 2. What they got was Diablo 2 but with the realization that Diablo 2 is a 10 year old game that was built upon grinding gear if you wanted to survive in Hell.

HyperWarlock

No, what we all got was a WoW clone with a real money auction house instead of monthly fees and nerfs instead of legitimate fixes. Example: Attack speed wouldn't work on certain legendary/set items on launch. They didn't fix it until months after the release of the RMAH. People were paying large money for these attack speed items that didn't work at all. Then when they fixed the items not working, they nerfed the attack speed affix. So basically a ton of people just wasted real money on something that was then edited and made completely worthless. Another example of how fail this game design is? Well, take for example that you can't modify your character stats without items. Only items can make your character strong, not placing skill points or building your character the old fashioned way. Now you just need a credit card and an IQ smaller than your shoe size, and you too can "win" at a Diablo game. WTF is this crap? Who are these retarded gamers who enjoy this kind of garbage game? Thanks to games like World of Warcraft, we have a whole new breed of n00bs playing our online multiplayer games. These kids are so bad at gaming that they complain to the company until they get the buffs/nerfs they want to make their game easier. These kids are so bad at gaming that they are actually changing the way games are made from the ground up. Why a game developer would listen to whiny n00bs? Money obviously. It's all about money now, not skill. Blizzard sold out for money.

D3 Is not a WoW clone by any stretch of the imagination.

It's not a WoW Clone, he is exaggerating. Diablo 3 does borrow heavily from WoW though, and that is what angers many Diablo fans.
