differences will be minor at best.. the game, from what I've heard, would be playable online but i'll wait until real concrete info come out about that.. VF5 is still a great game. With orwithout the online support, I'm certainly not going to buy it again.. Graphically, does anyone think the PS3 version looks better than the arcade ver?
Another one of these "wait until.." threads that once again claims the sony "wait"$tationwillkill off everything.Why can't it beat the wii, now?? Oh, that's right, because we have to "wait" until the "better" games come out.. Everyone knows that a price drop isn't coming anytime soon.. Why?? Sony's sheer disregard andarrogance.. Sony isn't even winning the console battle in it's own country.. When these titles come out, when sony seriously is considering a price drop, then it's a different story.. i'm tired of waiting.. FF and MGS (the main reason why I got my Ps3) isn't coming untilsummer08..
the PS3 is great for porn-opps, er, i mean... it's great for porn!!.... Gotta watch the misfires, that aint just dust I gotta clean off the thing.. hahaha!!
if your here asking whether or not you should get it, then perhaps you shouldn't.. your already not sure.. Does the system have any games in it's library justifies the $250 bones your going to slam down on this thing? What about its coming line-up, are there any games your interestedin? if your answer is no... don't get it.. try one first..
in fairness, the ps2 is still quite a juggernaut in the industry, well established, the largest install base of any system on the market but eventually (digs grave) it will all come to pass..
can't much be said about it's sibling, the ps3 in that regard. what ps2's are being used for now if it's not playing older games, GOW2 or guitar hero? playing dvd's.. playing dvd's....the psp costs more than a ps2 and even at it's price point, the wii is beating that too..so, sit back and think up some better way to flame the wii..
my launch model 360 is still kicking (knocks on wood) but in all honesty, it's tuckedinto that tiny opening in myentertainment center nor is it standing upright, shoved into some small corner along side my tveither.. that thing is sitting right in front of my air-conditioner.. hahaha... my wii took a crap on me though..
i WAS playing super mario 64 until my wii kicked the ol' bucket.. Since its been returned(?) from nintendo, i have to re-download all my VC titles again which I hadn't had time for.
