Please. Just stop already. DayZ came out almost 10 years ago and we still don't have a single multiplayer 3D open world zombie survival whatever the **** people want game that is actually fleshed out, runs well, and isn't complete miserable shit in gameplay. The audience has literally been through this at least a dozen times at this point... so much so that I don't know how this has any traction at all. It's the same old shit every time.

NetEase has since fired back with a statement of their own, claiming that Blizzard was seeking three-year deals with other companies even as it offered NetEase a six-month deal.
Well... yeah. This business logic that you claim to have would tell you that you should always be willing to explore other avenues, especially when it's looking like your existing avenue is coming to a close because the other party won't extend/renew the deal.
Companies trying to save face publicly is hilarious to me. I'm not siding with one or the other as ultimately the outcome doesn't affect me either way, but it's funny to watch the verbal gymnastics on display.

If the price of this thing was the same as other collector editions with similar stuff in the package, and those have the game included but this one doesn't, then we've got something wrong here. Otherwise... I feel like the reason they do this is so that they don't have to make 3 different SKUs of the same thing with the only difference being the platform that the game is for and instead they just have 1, they take the cost of the game off from the collector's edition pricing, and that way it's simpler for everybody. That's assuming games are universal too... if games are still region-locked or game codes are region-locked then that gets even more complicated. I want to say region locking isn't a thing anymore? I'm actually not sure, it's been forever since I've heard anybody talk about such a thing.
Also, if you're the type to buy digital then you'd potentially be waiting to play the game after the game's already been released because your shit is still shipping. If you have to buy the game separately and you're buying digital, there's none of that. For this one specifically, it's not shipping until almost a month after release... what the **** is a copy of the game being in there good for then? You're going to wait a month to play it?

Hopefully they'll figure out the controls at long last. I loved AC Project Phantasma because it felt like it was just as primitive and awkward as the generation that it released in and the core idea of the game was solid, but as everything moved ahead, AC felt like it got left further and further behind. I'd be excited about it but for the fact that I've seen this written about it: "In this leak, it was implied that the series would be taking a new direction, inspired by FromSoftware's recent games, such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring."
Probably reason #1 that I don't watch shows like this while they're still producing new episodes in the series. You never know if it's going to get cancelled in the middle of its run and you're going to be left with a non-ending. Now I'll never watch it knowing it doesn't have a proper ending.
