@speedracer3190 @garyqjzhang @BlueToofGangsta In the preview, Laura said "Clickers" were blind. If you listen to the infected in the preview, they are making clicking noises from their mouth. I'm guessing those were all clickers

@jawadhasan3 Really? I thought that was the only one that had any practical implication. As far as Leap and Eye tribe are concerned, I find motion based controllers clunky and inefficient and have no desire to spend my free time struggling with frustrating controls while gaming or slowing me down while I'm working.

With Muse, it's just dumb gimmick technology that doesn't make any physiologic sense. There's no hope in that technology except extremely simple gameplay (like putting a rope around a rock.)

As far as Rift is concerned, it's pretty cool, but when I dreamed of virtual reality when I was a kid, it wasn't just a headset. It was motion controls, and tactile stimulation, and brilliant artificial intelligence. I don't think putting a monitor inches away from eyes is going to create a more immersive environment. We're just not there tech wise.

However Illumiroom (terrible name BTW), actually seems to create more immersion as is. It seems to be in the same vein as 3D technology with making the user feel as if objects are coming off the screen. I'm a hell of a lot more receptive to that than this other tech.

The odd thing about business in a free market is that investors always expect increasing returns on investments not stagnation; or worse, decline. If that happens, they'll withdraw their investment and take their money elsewhere. This seems like a case where a business, Gamestop, is attempting to branch out in an illogical direction. What customers are going to avoid AT&T, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, T-mobile and decide to go with Gamestop and NET10 for cell phone plans? Although, I can't blame them for the anxiety with digital distribution becoming more popular.

@charlesdao @jmace1 Look bud, you can't ignore the E3 demo. Even if this small portion of the demo does take a more stealth based approach as he said in the article, it's still in the same vein as Conviction. It's no Chaos Theory or Pandora Tomorrow. Merely, a personal preference is all.

I'm pretty pessimistic with the Splinter Cell franchise after Conviction. It wasn't a bad game, but it abandoned the Splinter Cell formula I had enjoyed in the past and Blacklist appears to be in the same vein.

@Vojtass @jmace1 That's not the way you worded your original comment. I find it naive to call any trailer that portrays attractive women in provocative clothing or in a sexual light as sexist. What would happen if we applied this logic to other forms of art? This would mean that every artist that ever painted a nude woman is sexist. Every director that filmed a woman showing clevage is sexist. Every fashion show with lingerie is sexist.

Not to mention. The modified female you're referring to in the trailer actually joins the psycho squad, the elite police force in the world of Cyberpunk, at the end of the trailer.

@Vojtass Explain to me how the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer prevents women from being hired at Electronic Arts?

Despite your personal views on the degree of influence violent video games have on violent behavior, a large portion of the American population have serious concerns that it does exacerbate violent behavior. Now, President Obama has put aside the funding to provide definitive emprical evidence whether it does or does not? As he so wisely said in his speech today, we don't benefit from ignorance. I, along with many of you, believe this will show to the American people and the world that violent video games have minimal to no correlation with violent behavior. So why the hell are you attacking him? He's finally going to give us the concrete empirical data we can show non-gamers to disprove their false claims.

Interesting title. I'm kind of disappointed I watched this video now though, because I feel that I already know the hardships the characters face which is the main draw since the gameplay seems dismal (Yes, I understand that's not the focus of Cart Life). From this short video, it seems they may be too melodramatic at times to convey their point, which breaks the immersion for me yet adds much needed poignancy.

I'm a netflix subscriber, but after 11 years of nonstop yearly subscriptions to Xbox Live, I decided to let my Gold Account subscription lapse. To my surprise, Microsoft will not let you access you paid subscription netflix account service without concurrent Gold subscription as well. This does seem like an exploit in my opinion.

However, it seems the reason Microsoft dominated the competition in the online market for so long and placed such a development emphasis on Xbox Live was because they were able to make a profit off of it, specifically $60-$120 a year depending on monthly or yearly subscription. Everyone else in the market is emmulating the path Microsoft definded with Live in the same way the Wii defined the path to bring casual gamers and non-gamers into the market. As much as I'd like to see Live free if you fail to acknowledge the monetary motivation of Microsoft, we may risk having a stall on innovation with both Xbox Live and PSN.
