@R10nu @jmace1 When? Could I have a link. I'm genuinely curious. Not a fanboy here. Still have my PS1 and PS2 hooked up.

@ac1dcs13 @1234ritchie As an adult who puts his console in the living room, I would like it to look sleak. I loved the way the PS3 looked. Alls I'm saying is this is a very odd precedent not to show the console at its own unveiling.

There's a lot of hate in comments section....

It is a little weird not to show the console at the console unveiling, no?

Has this ever been done before? If it has, I'm not aware of it.

@Daian @jmace1 And since you said you could, I actually challenge you to name 12 PS3 exclusives, and I think you'd come to the alarming conclusion that a lot of Sony's big hitters come from 2-3 series as well. Uncharted, MGS, and Resistance. Same a Microsoft! What do ya know?!

I guess if you're a huge LBP fan and Gran Turismo you could throw those in there too. But Forza has really come into it's own this generation and provides some serious competition.

@Daian @jmace1 I'd argue that vast majority of great titles these days are multiplatform these days with a few exceptions. Not to mention when Microsoft is able to encourage a company to release a title soley on their platform, they typically release it on PC and 360, because it benefits their wallet to do so such as with L4D series and Witcher. But clearly, you're a fanboy looking to argue over exclusives, and I was looking to have an intelligent discussion.

P.S By the way, how's the development of Agent coming along? ;)

@Dansdaman180 @jmace1 @lifemeister Agreed. Simply saying that it's innaccurate to state that the Playstation is known for having the highest specs every generation in consoles. I don't think a PS4 with modest specs would be too harmful to sales. It's the exclusives that drive sales.

@Daian @lifemeister It's highly likely that the next console from Microsoft will have Blue Ray and leaked details all seem to point in this direction. Sony doesn't have a plethora of exclusives over Microsoft so I think it's just a mere personal preference on which exclusives you enjoy and as far as annual Live subcriptions are concerned I don't foresee that being a significant deterrent to Microsoft sales at a $60 price point.

@lifemeister To be fair, the high price point of the PS3 at launch was a deterrent for many consumers including myself. That price point was because of those powerful specs, which often times weren't even being utilized and when they were produced beautiful catastrophes such as Lair.

Not to mention, I believe it's a misnomer to categorize Sony as the company that always had the best specs. Keep in mind during the last generation (Xbox/PS2/Gamecube), Xbox clearly had the most powerful specs.

@Lord_of_Terrans This game is fun, but it's not survival horror. It's a violent action game. Fans of series take offense to this because the original Dead Space was one of if not the best survival horror game of this console generation, and it's disappointing to see another title go the action route. I've purchased every Dead Space title day one including three, and it's not a bad game but it's just it has clearly chosen to place an emphasis on shooting hordes of necromorphs above all else. Should've seen it coming since the series has always closely followed whatever the Resident Evil Series has done. Good or Bad.
