Hmmm, a very hard question, but i reckon a 360/ps3 game, something like ghost recon 2 or something. we all know mgs4 will score a 9 or even a perfect 10 ! but thats too far off. Who knows, soul calibre 4 will score a 9 ??!!?
i actualy think driv3r could have been better than driver parallel lines. I was playing driv3r the other day for the 20th millionth time. Its still fun to much around in take a drive, mainly for the superb editor film director mode but even then this gets boring so i dipped back into the missions using a level select. It does actually have some great missions that are classic driver. The cutscenes are very good and probably the best part of the game. It could have also done with more missions and more chase ones. The police are faster than your car in east end bull which is wrong as they just keep shuntng you, very annoying. I would have loved to have come up with designing the missions for this game and made it one hell of a joy ride. Yeah i know, i've got my head so far up my ar*e but i can dream on. Really though if this game had a much better structure for the missions it would have scored so much more. And if the story was a bit more engaging and better in game music. Such a big shame. I hope Martin Edmondson will return to the gaming industry as he was the one that gave us hope in the first place but i doubt he will sadly. It seems the stuntman franchise has been handed over to different developers and looks a little odd, but still fun perhaps. Martins brother took over with parallel lines however.
I bet people have dipped back into this game now and then despite being a flop. Its actually better than most people believe. Theres something in this game still that could have been excellent. It had the right graphics and handling, it was the poor construction of the level missions. It was rushed becasue so much time had been spent buffing up the physics and graphics. I remember seeing a really early build of it most people wouldnt have. It does actually look way more polished then it did. The tuxedo got ditched as well for some reason ?. I hope driver returns again.
on my sony bravia 32kdlv2500 some games appear like they cant keep up with the speed on fast moving objects and the screen goes rough. also some games look like they have slowdown when things get busy on screen even though their not meant to have slowdown. Is it because of the standard sony lead i'm using ?.
