i've never expereinced slowdown when fighting olga but on my new sony hdtv there is slow down. has anyone else noticed this ?

my model is kdl32v2500.

I have a Sony Bravia HDTV 32".

the quality is amazing however....

i dont own a ps3 yet but am playing my ps2 with it, driv3r looks amazing, very underestimated game for the graphics being bright bold and colourful, very sharp on my tv. Then i tried soul calibur 2 because i always knew that game had great graphics, it appears its a bit blurry on my tv though ?, i selected 60hz mode to run the game even though i am onlu using the composite scart lead supplied with the ps2 so i dont know why it let me select 60hz and be in colour etc. I also tried Metal gear solid 2 and the graphics were amazing as ever but real sharp on my tv, there was a slight problem though, when i got to the boss fight olga the framerate kept dropping badly, it was fine before i got to this fight?. I remember it having no slow down on my old tv. On my new tv i have a freeze option, so i froze it on that particular bit, what it then does is whilst having that part frozen there is a small screen in the corner with me actually playing alongside the frozen picture and there is no slowdown? so i know its not the game. any ideas ?.

Also will i beable to play ps2 games on ps3 using an hdmi lead only or would i have to keep switching between scart?.

One other small thing, some channels i do not appear to get a reception on my tv and is blank without no sound, they are not scheduled programs so i dont know ?.

So how bad is the sixaxis for this game, i mean tilting the controller doesnt actually come into it does it ?.

If the controlls are anything like the ps2's then i will get along just fine or are they different?.
