In terms of components, that is a very good computer. The GTX 480 is the most powerful single-gpu in the market, albeit not the most efficient. It should be able to handle Crysis with very respectable frames.

In terms of recommendations for games, try out Metro 2033, STALKER (Shadow of Chernobyl is the best version, imo), Battlefield Bad Company 2, GRID, Dirt 2, and Dragon Age: Origins. All those games are very good for their respective genres, and won't disappoint.

thanks. i have metro already it is a great game, maybe i will try dirt 2 i could use a good rally game.

I just ordered a new PC with a evga 480 gtx card, i5 quad core 2.66 processor, windows 7 home 64 bit, 8 gigs ddr3 ram with 1333 MHz, 80 gb intel ssd drive, and 1.5 TB 7200 seagate drive. if my research serves me correct i think i ordered a pretty kick ass computer. i was just wondering if anyone has this graphics card (480 gtx) and what they run crysis and crysis warhead at? any setting to recommend?

I also ordered some extra goodies, the nvidia 3d vision glasses, alienware 23 inch 120hz monitor, logitech g27 steering wheel.

If anyone could recommend any good games that work well with the 3d kit that would be great? (i have fallout 3, crysis, crysis warhead, batman arkham asylum, and metro 2033)

Also, as I will soon have the g27 steering wheel, and only have Gran turismo prologue , please let me know any recommendation you have for ps3 or pc racing games that utilize the g27 well?

any recommendation on mounting kit for the g27 without a seat or with seat?

thanks for all your help.

Gaming PC advice needed. I have about $2500 give or take a little to spend on a gaming PC. I was wondering if someone can recommend any computer companies to buy from, large companies or smaller computer companies are fine. I understand building a PC is cheaper however please do not recommend I build a PC as I will not be doing that due to certain reasons. Please note I want a simple pc case, no LED lights or windows is preferable.

I found two companies that seem to be fairly priced for what you get, any thoughts?

1) Does anyone know if the March 26 release date for GTX 480 and 470 is true? I found this info at the link below

http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-fermi-gf100-pax-east,9729.html

2) Also I want to purchase a computer that will have the GTX 480 or 4760 in it. Please do not recommend that I build a PC as I will not be doing that, I do not have that option. What I would like in the computer can be seen below. I know the GF100 hardware and GTX 480 and 470 are not out yet however if you could recommend any good computer companies/ models that will have PCs with these graphics card in it I would appreciate it. The companies can be big name or small companies you would see in PC magazine ads. The computer I want should be able to run Adobe CS4 software fast, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Premier, etc... also the computer should be very good with gaming, with 3D capabilities and phys-x, and direct X 11 graphics. Thanks you for your help.

any thoughts on this company http://www.digitalstormonline.com/

Computer I want specifications

-a good quad core intel processor
-Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
-a decent sized Solid Stae Drive to load windows 7 onto, along with Adobe CS4 software, and a few PC games, 2 to 3 should be fine.
- a 7200 rpm or 10000 rpm , with a at least 500GB storage
-ethernet
-7.1 audio sound card (maybe this could be accomplished with a SPDIF cable from graphics card to motherboard, not sure?)
-GTX 480 or 470 (does anyone know the main differnece)?
-motherboard capable of future SLI upgrades, if needed.
-6 or 8 gigs of ddr3 ram
-blu ray player, CD, DVD burner, blu ray burner is NOT needed
-at least 4 usb ports
-headphone port, a few usb ports, (needed on front) maybe a memory/ media card reader on the front

I have a Dell Precision T3400 desktop. I would like to upgrade the graphics card to a EVGA 275 GTX Co op edition card. Upon entering my product service tag number (like a serial number) into dell.com. The upgrades options said my computer can handle a EVGA 260 GTX graphics card. Because the EVGA 260 GTX lookS very similar in size to the 275 GTX I think it would fit in my computer and also work in my computer. Below are some references, pics, links AND SPECS OF pc. I woudl tell you what kind of motherboard I have, however I do not know how.

The case measurements, (from me measuring outiside) are 17 inch height, 17 inch length, and 6 inch wide

1) Please let me know if this graphics card will fit and work in my computer? Will it work with my power supply? I have called Dell and they could not answer this question - pretty pathetic I know.

2) Please let me know what the blue L-shaped plastic piece is on the bottom of the PC. Should I remove it?

3) Also does anyone know how I can get a full losts of the specs/ hardware of my computer? I have Dell.com specs but they seem pretty lacking. Any software that can tell me all my specs, paid or free is fine.

4) If I need a better Power supply please recommend a good one?

Thanks for your help please see below.

I cold be wrong however, I beleive BFG cards come with a deal where if within 100 days a newer card comes out you can returen it and pay the difference for the newer/ better card. Also I am sure when the time comes I would be able to sell the 295 GTX for at least $400. To the human eye what will be noticable in the newer Nvidia cards that are coming out?

A few gaming goodies questions.

1) Does anyone know where I could buy the Nvidia BFG Tech GeForce GTX 295 graphics card? (yes I am building a gaming machine) I am looking for the one that has the 2 DVI ports and the HDMI port (real port, not done through an adapter). Link below to a review and specifics of the card.

2) I want to buy a 22 inch 3D computer monitor. Does anyone have either the Viewsonic or Samsung 3D monitor and if so what are your thoughts on it as a regular monitor and also as a 3d/ nvidia glasses monitor? Links to monitors below. Also if you know of any 22 inch 3D monitors please let me know.
