Hello,

i recently purchased a new computer with a EVGA 480 GTX card (full specs can be seen below). In regards to the games below I was wondering if anyone could recommend graphics settings while using 3D vision? i know i can play around with the settings i was just hoping someone with the same graphics card as me or similar specs can recommend any settings they had success with. i assume i can max anything out not using 3D and achieve playable frame rates. with the 3d vision i want it to be as smooth as possible and look as good as possible also.

also how do you add a signature in this website forum

I'm using a gateway fx laptop right now and I know what you mean. The keyboard is amazing as I can type anything with such fluidity. Ghost_702
i like it so much i might order the keyboard part from gateway and try to build my own keyboard from it. also after using the razor lycosa keyboard with rubber keys i am actually growing to like it a lot. still the gateway fx keyboard is amazing.

i am looking for keyboard with low profile keys, basically a keyboard similar to a laptop keyboard, more specifically a keyboard similar to a Gateway FX laptop keyboard. i would like one that is illuminated. i own the logitech illuminated keyboard and the razor lycosa and do not like either of them. there is something about the gateway fx laptop keyboard that is just perfect. any recommendations on low profile / illuminated keyboards other than the logitech illuminated keyboard and the razor lycosa? thanks for your help

Buy HP not dell problem solved.

HydraRizlim

does HP have any 3D 120hz monitors? unfortunetly from the reviews i have read online say that alienware makes the best 3D monitor.

just out of curiousity is the HP support good, and do you have to pay extra for it?

UPDATE

i called Dell back and when i got transfered to a supervisor i cursed him out badly, and I finally got done what I needed. it is pathetic that i had to curse the guy out just to get results.

here is the situation. any advice?

1) received a alienware monitor broken, screen works, outer physical damage

2) received a second replacement model and did not receive the shipping label from DELL in the replacement model box like Dell said I would receive

3) i called dell to discuss returning the original broken monitor, and have been transferred 6 times from dell tech support, to alienware support, to customer care etc..... i am not exaggerating transferred 6 times and then a "WE ARE SORRY YOUR CALL CAN NOT BE COMPLETED, PLEASE HANG UP" on phone transfer number 7 i got disconnected what the hell!!!

4) during the brief phone conversations i had with dell bouncing back and forth from India to America they could not even find my order number or account number on file and I was reading it off the official Dell email. Anyone know where the Express service tag is on this monitor [accessories.us.dell.com]

5) i am thinking of just forgetting about this and just keeping both monitors and seeing what happens. as of now i have only been charged for 1 monitor. i figured the worst thing that could happen is dell/ alienware charges me for the second monitor. then i think that would be considered the date of purchase and i would have 21 days to return that monitor for refund according dells return policy.
should I call dell again and deal with their **** or just wait it out?

6) can anyone recommend any good 3D monitors with no or little backlight bleeding? recommendations of ones that are our or coming out would be appreciated, 22-27 inches preferred. thanks for all your help.

Hello,

Any help recommending a good 3D nvidia vision ready monitor would be appreciated. I have recently purchased the 23 inch 3d ready alienware monitor.

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/product...mp;sku=320-8846

The monitor arrived with a damaged frame, and damaged metal grill on the top, besides that it powers on and works. (Dell/ Alienware is sending me a replacement with overnight shipping --- didn't know overnight meant 5 days because I still don't have it, and they took 45 minutes on the phone just to issue a return, sorry for my Dell customer service rant) I have not tried 3d vision yet, however I have tried web browsing, adobe software, Borderlands, God of war 3 via HDMI (ps3), HULU, etc.. I have not played with the settings besides making the brightness 40 (the monitor is VERY BRIGHT- not a bad thing).

I have noticed in most instances when the screen has black on top and below, like watching hulu full screen with black bar at top and bottom , or if the game is a dark game like certain parts of God of War 3 there is a white blurry bar a little smaller than half an inch on top and a smaller less noticeable blurry bar on bottom. Overall it is very noticeable and is quite annoying. I am aware this color bleeding problem is common in many LCDs but this in my opinion is terrible. I am hoping my replacement does not have that problem.

1) Is there a way to get rid of the white blur on top and bottom of the screen or a way to decrease it?

2) In the link below in the 1920X1080 Desktop Display section and the 1680X1050 section can someone please recommend a monitor that does not have the white blur problem, or just recommend the best one possible 22-24 inches? a brief explanation (differences and benefits) of 1920X1080 verse 1680X1050 displays would also be appreciated. I know 1680X1050 is a higher resolution but is that necessarily a better?

I recently ordered a gaming computer from originpc with a the 3d vision kit, i5 processor, and a evga gtx 480 card. I would be willing to write a review on how the 3D vision works with the computer/ monitor. No it won't be a professional review just my own opinions. where would the best place be to add that review?

again thanks for your help.

You only have to beat the game once to play as Sheva. It's not that hard. You should enjoy the game the first time.

James00715

i played it once on ps3, now i want to enjoy it on my new pc. but i do not want to play as chris again
