obviously you've never played a pc game

usually you need an update if you cant connect to multiplayer

btw by your games on steam they autoupdate

davidkamayor

obviously you are wrong i have played many pc games mostly through steam

i do not like multiplayer and hardly ever play the multiplyer portion of a game (except for borderlands)

btw the first thing i said is that i know steam games autoupdate, the only reason i want to buy actual hard copies of games is that it gives you the choice to resell them later on, in steam you can not sell your game used.

thank you for not answering anything.

i know ps3, xbox 360, and steam automatically update your games (if connected to the interent). however, if you buy a PC game in the store (a hard copy) how do you know if or when the game needs an update? i know you can go to the games website and download updates and patches, is that the only way? or can pc games automatically download updates or does it depend on the game.

hello,

i have a 1080p aleinware optx 2310 monitor, a gtx 480 graphics card, i5 processor, 8 gigs ram, windows 7 home premium 64 bit. i can safely assume i can max FEAR out. when i played FEAR the highest resolution option was 1920 X 1080 X 32 and it said the game was not optimized for that resolution, but i figure the highest resolution is the best right?

in fear extraction point the highest resolution is 1600 X 1200 X 32 when i set to that it makes things look a little bigger than they did with FEAR. should i actually be setting my computer (nvidia control panel or display settings) to 1600 X 1200 X 32? if not then what is the best graphics setting for my monitor.

thanks for any help

does anyone know where i can get an eyeglasses case lage enough for nvidia 3d vision glasses? nvidia give you a pouch which is pretty useless. the dimensions based on my measurements are 6.25 in. width X 1.8 in. height X 1.75 in. depth. those are the dimensions the inside of the glasses should fit into.

hello,

i purchased Red Dead Redemption for playstation 3 and the plastic wrapping around the game box had a sticker that said the following "Playstation 3 Exclusive Content Includes: SOLOMON'S FOLLY GANG HIDEOUT AND WALTON GANG OUTFIT"

there was no code to download these items in the box, does anyone know how you access these things/ where they are/ does it become unlocked in a mission? thanks for any help.

No. And if you have a choice get a console version. The PC version will have Ubi's online DRM which will may render the game unplayable when you want to. And knowing Ubisofts latest PC offerings it will be poorly optimized. Have you seen recommended requirements? 4 gigabytes of ram. lol. Wonder how the console version works with 512 ram. **** Ubisoft. **** em up their stupid *****.GeneralShowzer

i played the last POP on PC and i thought it looked amazing. no glitches at all.

hopefully it does come out on pc. i recently got a new computer with a gtx 480 card and i think i would enjoy RDR a lot more on pc over my ps3. when it comes to cross platform games pc version USUALLY looks a lot better and runs better more so than it's console siblings. recent example for me would be borderlands and bioshock 2, i personally compared the 360 version of border lands to pc and the ps3 bioshock 2 to pc and the PC versions looked so much better that it was significantly noticable (at the time i was using a laptop with a nvidia 8800M GTS graphics card). now with newer and beter graphics cards pc games are looking insanely detailed. batman arkham asylum on my new pc actually looks real!! and with 3d vision it is even more amazing

btw from the gameplay trailers, the graphics engine for this game doesn't even look tat good visually.

Looks like the original Call of Juarez with additional shadow and light effects...and tat was how many years ago?

But gameplay seems rock-solid xD... i think. GTA + Far Cry 2?

raichou

i think call of warez bound in blood looked almost real (pc version) if the red dead redemption on pc looked like CAW BIB i would be very happy.
