crysis. far cry 2. gta 4? i have problems running crysis on my 4890 so. the 9500gt isnt that bad at gaming, albeit it is still a media card and as such wont perform like a gaming card. yea the 4850's are cheap. and good. 100$
joshott's forum posts
gt 240 is a little worse then a 9600. but they both only support dx 10 not 10.1
its CAD dollars. Not much difference tho. about 4/5 cents now. anyway, that india thing is a dilema. i was just trying to find out how much they could be, and comparing the prices here. it would be more, but not so much mor i would think. if its 150 here, itd probably be 200-225 there.
yea. 27a on 12v rails i think. dual mans youll do it no problem with the right amount of wattage. i think that if you dont have then needed amps, you need more watts, not sure on that tho. yea, the 9500gt is considered a media series card i think. definetly not gaming, and low power is needed. the card does need 2 6 pin connecters, and any psu usually less then 600w does not have that. some 600w+ dont either, but you can just get a double molex to 6 pin connecter for around 7$. any cheap 600w should do you fine
well, not half the power. they would get sued. :P. i think its 7-10% difference is the limit a company can have. anyway, cheap companies are not always bad. and what 400w do you have now, good brand? i got some chinese made MIOS that said 545 and it delivers 539, so... im using a 4890 and i have only had 1 problem witht he psu, and that was trying to fit it in my case. even if the 600w is cheap, it will provide sufficient power to the 4870. like i said, im using a cheap 545w for my 4890 and it works great. overclocking leaves something to be desired, 875/1025 XD
well its simple. the 2x275's will outperform. but if you get a 5870, you can always add another later. crossfire mobos are cheap, as low as 100$, and you have room to upgrade later. and, imo if you buy anything above a gtx 260 now, it is not wortth it, as when fermi comes out the others will drop significantly. if you like nvidia, and can wait for another couple months, then id do so. get a small card in the meantime, maybe a 4850.
how much is it? here on newegg, christmas special is 149.99 plus tax and shipping, same in us.
id get a 4890. or 5850 for dx11. depends on budget, a 5770 will do, but
i doubt it. any other things in the bios. intels have SW Single core, and sw dual core for quads im pretty sure. also, do a system restore, if when you restore it and it shows 4 again, it is the os or the mbaord. also, if you get a chance, try to benchmark it and compare your benchmarks to others of the same cpu.
5770 is not best value. a 4870 outpeforms it and believe me, the dx11 doesnt do much, because it isnt powerful enough to do max settings on dx11. if you dont need dx11, get the 4890. powercolor on newegg for 150$, and it outperforms the gtx 275 in some tests. id get a 5850 or a 4890
