Your arguements are fickle. Do any of you actually think that the fact that the ps3 has no AAA exclusives on gamespot determines or has any bearing on how much the ps3 sells and how successful or non successful it will eventually become. The ps3 has scored AAA exclusives on other sites. So gamespot is the only review site that should be taken seriously. It one guys opinion against another.
Its been mentioned by kojima before that logan is making the intro for the game as well as the logo that we have already seen. Apparently the intro will be very unique and something never seen in a video game before :o. I guessing this is what there hinting at dont expect any announcements. There just going to L.A to finalize it im guessing.
Having just bought a ps3 a few weeks ago, id say im satified,but the design seems a bit amateurish. I dont like the layout to much and the way you navigate through the content , i think it could be alot slicker. Saying that i cant compare it the live because ive never had hands on with it. Theres some nice demos and trailers on there though, it will keep improving. Plus its free so i cant complain too much.
Im glad i upgraded my x800xt back in march to a 1950pro even just for SM 3.0 support. I was looking at vids of bioshock earlier this summer and thinking id have to upgrade again to run this game. But as many people say it runs extremely well on modest rigs like mine. My amd 64 3500+ is over 2 years old and im still playing at maximum settings at a decent resolution.
I dont think kojima is going for that photo realistic vipe, mgs4 has its own artistic style, like gears of war which looks totally over the top and no way realistic but it still looks fantanstic, this is down to the art direction.
What people have to realize is a game does'nt have to be photo realistic looking to be considered graphically amazing, theres a difference, take OKAMI for example. If you want to play a game that is striving to be as realistic as possible in graphics terms, look at C0D4 or crysisboth these games are pushing for this, kojima and his team is'nt. Mgs4 is'nt in this catergory.
