sorry to bring this up, im as sick as everyone else with the mgs4 360? topics . But has anyone else noticed that they removed the playstation 3 logo at the part of the trailer just before raiden confronts the gekko's. The older version of the trailer had this, but with this remastered trailer its disapeared, why would they do that ?
I have a PS3 and am not interested in MGS4. If it goes multiplat I wont be happy because it is our killer app.
I care more for FF XIII's exclusivity than MGS4. Than again, folklore is just godly.

I think thats what it comes down to. Mgs4 is a big sytem seller and i feel it is essential to the ps3's success as a gaming console. I care more about this being an exclusive because it will help ps3's sales and i want the console i spend my money on to have the best games down the line. Epecially for someone sitting on the fence like myself and owns neither a 360 or a ps3 , im still deciding which console to get. I have no plans to buy both a 360 and a ps3 its either one or the other me. Mgs4 exclusivity will be a a big deciding factor for me.
Something is happening and we all know it, why else would Konami be beating around the bush and not giving a clear cut answer now, it's always "that's speculation", yeah well no duh, is it true or not, all the hesitation to give an answer is making more and more people wonder.

This is very true, if it was an indefinate ps3 exclusive then why not just come out and say it. My guess is kojima production is waiting to see if sales of the ps3 pick up before announcing anything. If sales of the ps3 have increased significantly before mgs4 is shipped then it will stay a ps3 exclusive . I guess there hoping for a good ten million user base to justify the amount of money ther've spent developing the game. But if ps3 sales still have'nt matched the companies expectations there'll start working on a port that will come out a year after the ps3 version is realeased ( there a company after all, and companies are about making money). If this is the case aslong as they dont announce the 360 version untill mgs4 has been out a good few months on the ps3 then it wont harm potential sales of the game and potential ps3 sales either. Especially for those that are on the fence about getting a ps3 and already own a 360. Im sure if a 360 version was announced before the ps3 version shipped most people would just wait for that version to come instead of buying a ps3 even if they had to wait a year to play it, saves money right. If mgs4 is a system seller then why spend all that money on a ps3 when you could get a 360 for less and still enjoy the game. I think kojima production are in a tricky situation atm , do they start working on a port, garanteering good sales , or keep it exclusive and hope that the game itself will sell alot of ps3 's. Im sure there summing all this up right now.
Personally im waiting before i upgrade to a dx10 rig. I last upgraded my rig over 2 years ago with a amd3500, 2gb ram and an x800xt (back then it was the dogs balls, it was money well spent). The only upgrade ive purchased was a radeon 1950 pro to tide me over with games like stalker (which runs awesome on my rig and i did'nt even pay for) and a 700w psu which ill keep for my next build. Its not because im short of money that ive not upgraded, its mainly because no game thats out atm takes my interest and the ones im playing atm already run great on my current rig.. Im waiting to see how my rig runs HL EP2, some of those physics look very nice my cpu might strugle, ill see. Obviously crysis is the biggy for most pc gamers, might aswell wait till thats out and then upgrade. Get the best possible rig that can run the game to the max, then ill be set for another 2-3 years.
