@Pr0ving4Gr0undz Nah, I think rather not, if so many people just prefer the Wii U to be a powerhouse rather than gaving that GamePad, then they probably don't want new things on the 360 either.
BTW, the Wii U GamePad actually kinda makes this immersive environment already, just without the 3D and the big screen, Google ''Wii U Panorama View'', quite fascinating, though, I don't think making it a video game was good idea LOL, they coul've just made it a downloadable app for the Wii U.
@jhpeter I'm sorry but I do not see AR being integrated into the usual hardcore games. It would only get reduced to gimmicky stuff, like taking ammo up from the ground. It may work with the Wiimotes and PS Move, as you said, but not really outside FPS games, like Metroid Prime, and Killzone. Those 2 games handled motion controlls pretty well, especially Metroid Prime, HUGE advantage over the GC controlls. Though, games like racers, Need for Speed being the most known example, wouldn't work that well, because of, again, gimmicky controlls, like reaching for the knob, it may benefit the steering aspect, but everything else would be unneeded gimmicks. Or let's say Tomb Raider, how are you supposed to play 3rd person games, that are much more intensive than the Kinect mini games. How are you going to do the Uncharted like climbing. Speaking of Sony exclusives, how would God of War get played? I think AR games should just stay as sports games, until we have the technology to simulate these action intensive games. I much rather have no AR or motion controlls, than to reach for ammo once in a while, or jumping to jump in a game, or grabbing the knob in racers.
It may could work out if we would combine the Wii with the PS Move and the Kinect. But that obviously won't happen in a legal way.
@Phazevariance Khem, 300$ for a hardcore next gen system with Kinect V2 built in sounds legit for you? You should really spend at least 10 minutes on Wikipedia on researching about hardware, that's about enough to understand that a 300$ price tafg is not enough for a next gen system.
@Stonecutters908 You said everything that had to be said about the next gen consoles, well, mostly, you could've gone in to detail, nobody is forcing you, but you pretty much summed it up.
@xxYetterxx Did they really think about the 99$ 360 back in 2010? I didn't see anything about the contract XBox here, neither did I on any other news website.
