I bet I'll get jumped by everyone after typing this, but I think a majority of those games could be on the Wii U, since EA recently said that they have a lot of games in the pipeline for the Wii U (About which GameSpot did not make a news article.), and that comment is even in the very same interview, that this article has it's source from. And I don't think EA's heads are that stupid to release more ports of old games on the system. Nobody likes old ports, at least, nobody I can think of.

Quote from the interview:

Interviewer: Because of EA's history of aggressively supporting hardware launches we've no doubt you've got plenty of Wii U games in the pipeline, but at E3 you only announced Mass Effect 3. Why have you seemingly opted to hold back?

Frank Gibeau: It's a couple of things. We've got a couple of more games in development for Wii U and we'll have a bigger line-up for Wii U than we did on the Wii. It is the first next-generation platform coming out so we're really supporting it.

We're really interested in digital platforms and we're really interested in showing off our games when they're ready to be shown off in a big way. Just looking at E3 and where we're at, we wanted to hold our fire a little bit on a couple of the other games that we're working on. We'll have more announcements this summer on the rest of the Wii U line-up.

@moonlightwolf01 Well, that Pokemon tracker thingy, was sort of like this. I think you had to walk some miles, and those miles would work like the steps you take in the game for the Day-Care Center to add lvls to your Pokemon. So big games companies do think like that, sorta.

@PodXCOM Oh you next gen preacher, yes I've seen you preaching the next gen on the Epic article, shut your trap.

One day consoles will die out, but not in 10 years, goddammit. Everyone is upset about the 10 years, not that they will die out. Streaming isn't a viable option for a plethora of reasons, like, some countries don't have that internet speed or bandwidth, internet providers will put a cap on your bandwidth, everyone will have their own streaming options, and so on.

@ViDiO-GaMeR Haze was the Halo clone. And it was meant to be a clone. I bet if you look into their catalog of exclusives, you'll find quite a lot of clones. I'm too lazy to do that, so I don'' know.

Ok, this is goddamn arrogant. Sony, stop before this goes out of hand, just shut up about the competition. You'll drive yourselves into the ground at some point. And that won't help your financial problems, now, would it?

And how exactly is it inevitable to make a 4 player fighter, that isn't Smash Bros., you are goddamn game developers, you should know how to do that. I've played 4 player fighters before, and they were nothing like Smash.

This won't happen, Mr. Jaffe. The only thing negative about the next gen of consoles that could happen, is a severe drop in sales, from a high cost for consoles for example, not the only reason why the sales could drop, of course.

For me the console business has died a lil' bit, because of everyone copying everyone, and the consoles being mere upgrades of the previous, but it certainly won't die off in one generation, just because of streaming options. I'm just going to stay here with my PC, my PS4, my Wii U (but no 720, because I don't want to buy a console for just Halo), and play good games, until the next gen of consoles comes around, and then I'll be here, with my PC, my PS5, the console Nintendo will bring out (Probably no 1440, because, again, it'll probably just have Halo, but who knows, it may have more franchises.), and so on, until streaming is a viable option all around the world, but then I'll be here, with my PC, my Sony streaming option, my Nintendo streaming option, and maybe Microsoft streaming option (Because by then, they should have some other franchise, other than Halo.).

Kinda makes sense, they get their most money from North-America, or the USA should I say.. Going to TGS or GamesCom, with no new first party titles or new hardware, is just a waste of time, too.

@ColdfireTrilogy @ChiefFreeman I meant in general, they are talking about the other competitors very negatively lately, while others, like Nintendo here, treat them much more respectively, I don't know about Microsoft, they haven't made a comment. GameSpot just isn't doing that great of a job at having much news here.

@Hvac0120 I don't really think it's in it's own generation, since the games might be able to be ported to the Wii U. The hardware isn't as big of a leap as it was with PS2 to PS3.
