I tend to play on normal mode as I don't care about achievements and I don't like to get overly frustrated when playing a game. If I'm running low on titles to play (which is not very often, typically I have the opposite problem) then I might replay on a harder mode, but not usually.
I don't think the 360 needs a Blu Ray drive for gaming, but it would be a nice option to buy as a peripheral. I don't think there are that many gamers who would be willing to buy a whole new machine for an internal drive, but as an add-on it could sell well.
Did none of you have older brothers? This is what older brothers do, try to make the younger brothers cry. It is especially easy when the parents always let the younger brother do whatever he wants, then, when they are not around, the older brother won't cave on stupid stuff, like whether he can be green and the younger brother cries.
There is nothing surprising or shocking in this video (as some have asserted), it's just good clean American funny.
I got the Elite, the extra space and the HDMI made it worth it for me. I know they were having some trouble keeping the Elite in stock, anyone know if that's been fixed?
I know they want to bring the engine to consoles which means games that have the look and feel of Crysis, but I doubt the game itself will get ported. Besides, they could make a better game, and probably should once they try to appeal to the broader audience of console gaming.
Halo as a whole was a good series, but you cannot discount that Halo 3 brings the whole thing down a notch. I'd say MGS, GTA, and God of War are better series.
I feel that way about many of my games. I picked up COD4 almost a month ago and still haven't gotten to it. So many good games came out the end of last year that I have been unable to keep up. I'm almost looking forward to the summer downtime so I can clear my plate in time for gears.
