I just bought the orange box on steam because of the weekend sale. (in case you don't know it was only 9.99). So I installed Portal and it works fine, but Team Fortress 2 does not! Let alone all of my online steam games don't work.So now im stuck with a digital piece of **** i can't play! I keep getting "connection failed 4 retries" I can't see any servers in game, but can on the desktop server list. And all i can do is create a server run around and shoot imaginary enemies!!! If anyone knows how to fix this PLEASE let me know!! I am dying to play tf2!

I would say AC, I just finished it today. It has a long, twisting, and surprising events that will defenitly keep you playing. If you have a good enough PC, then it will be an epic experience. On max settings it is an eyegasm. I picked up my copy on ebay for only $14. I would pay $50 for it though.

Assassin's Creed FTW!!!!

[QUOTE="GenTom"]4 games OUT NOW and you'll appreciate why you bought your rig (though you should have thought of that before you bought it..). They all look fantastic when maxed out with a good FPS. 1) Grand Theft Auto 4 (PC) 2) Empire Total War 3) Fallout 3 4) Farcry 2 / Crysis / Crysis Warhead (all similar). Games to come this year that will test your rig to the max: 1) Mafia 2 2) Call of Juarez bound in blood 3) Operation Flashpoint 2 4) Armed Assault 2 (op flash spiritual sequal) 5) Red Faction Guerrilla 6) Ghostbusters (you may laugh but apparently it's pretty high-end when maxed out on PC) and i'm sure loads more. and thats just this year.

You should get Assassin's creed. I picked up my copy for only about $12 on ebay. It looks amazing maxed my fps never drops below 30 fps. I get max 90

I am looking at picking up another game, and I LOVE historical shooters with good sp, and deep storylines. So do you guys suggest getting it or not? Also does anyone still play it online or is it dead? And what kind of fps would i get on max settings.

Thanks

Well since you dont have a sli motherboard dont bother buying one and another 9800gt. Since your on a 19" your 9800gt should be doing just fine. If you want to upgrade for better performance boost. Overclock your cpu to 2.6+ghz or buy a new cpu clocked at 2.6+ ghz or better. 04dcarraher
how do I overclock my CPU? And I am still using my stock cpu cooler (which sucks would that be ok?)
