@nutcrackr @jts1891 For one, he claims that all the guns feel the same, but that hasn't been my experience at all. Some automatic rifles have a fairly low rate of fire but do high damage, while others are almost like a machine gun. Each has their uses in different situations.
He complains about the story, but then shows that he didn't even pay attention to it to begin with.

The Awoken didn't hope to learn anything. They asked for the head of a Gate Lord to make the key you need to enter the Black Garden. In fact, they said as much in the game. There are plenty of other issues scattered throughout the rest of the article as well.
I can't really take this review seriously at all. There are so many comments scattered throughout the review that show he wasn't paying much attention to the game as he played.
In all honesty, while InFamous was a good game, I wouldn't spend any money on it's DLC. Unlike most people, I think the story was actually it's strongest point. But in terms of gameplay, it was really repetitive. While there are some superficial differences, the various powers play almost exactly alike with few exceptions. Then you've got the lack of variety when it comes to side-missions. All in all, it's a good game for a single playthrough if you stick with just the story missions, but if you spend time doing the side-missions, it gets boring by the time you get to the end.
@nl_skipper @bunchanumbers Never mind that many of the people he 'murders' are cannibals, thugs, or worse or that the 'kid he barely knows' reminds him of his murdered daughter.
@noah364 That's the problem. If you read the review, you'd come away thinking it was absolutely amazing. But then you see the number 8 at the bottom, which is a score you'd expect from a good, but not great, game.
In other words, the score doesn't match the review.
@kingjugganott Oh yes. How dare Sony change the architecture of their next console so that they can deliver a better experience at the cost of you being unable to play a PS3 game on a PS4. It's a shame that they didn't anticipate that you didn't plan on holding on to your PS3 to play old games.
@Piris @jts1891 @AK_the_Twilight @bdiddytampa The Wii U says otherwise. And who said I owned a PS3? I had a 360 last gen. I was referring to the concept of backwards comparability in general.
@AK_the_Twilight @jts1891 @Piris @bdiddytampa Who said that was from the 360? 30% of PS4 owners are individuals who did not own a Sony console last gen, whether that means they were gaming on a PC, a Wii, or a 360. Given the massive difference in sales between the X1/Wii U and the PS4 compared to last gen, the number isn't a surprise.
