@Diabeto. It's too late capcom is already dumbing down their own fighting games. Look at UMVC3 compared to MvC2. A freaking "Super" button. SfxTekken is already shown with a "team attack" gauge. SF4(all editions) are beyond simple compared to something like SF III: 3rd Strike.
If a bible game was accurate. It would still be filled with contradictions and horrible amounts of violence. Probably rivaling any other violent game. Example: _"So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son." 2 Kings 6:29 Let the flame war and "thumbs down" ratings begin.
"It's certainly buzzword compliant; it's connected, it's social, it features every conceivable flavor of waggle control, it has a touch screen, and it even has that funky reach-around touch thing, but is it what people really want? " Made me Lol, excellent writing. Casual gaming has kind of ruined things for hardcore gamers. Many people complain if a game is "too long" when it's more then 10hrs. A side from open world games like Fallout or GTA, many games aren't very long. That is seen all over the gaming market and now it is spreading towards mobile gaming.
@adilejaz this "moral" guidance you say that exists in these "holy" books has been the cause of far more violence then any videogame. Gamers may get into arguments over my system is better than your system, but that is nothing compared to all the wars people have started because of the "your not worshiping god the right way" argument that goes on in all religious conflicts. Not to mention the lack of evidence for most things in those books, such as dragons, flying horses etc. I am saying if people are going to try to censor one thing because it is too "violent" then they should try censor everything and stop trying to blame videogames for all of societies problems. I am sure video games have lead to fights and other things but that is just what happens when maladjusted people get into arguments.Videogames haven't lead to crusades, nor any one stoning their wife because she went outside without a man.
What about all the violence that pre dates video games by a few thousand years? There is a ton of violence in the bible and quran etc, so what is the excuse for those?
