wow, i thought i was the only one here that thought that. maybe we'll see in the next iteration. definitely left a cliffhanger at the end ;)
[QUOTE="yonnex"]thx man, i'll give that a try when i get home. if that doesn't work, i'll be following up :( condemned 2 is now working, but uncharted still is having the same issue. although not being prompted with any networking errors, i've tried what was suggested on this thread (port forwarding ports listed, set console to DMZ, set primary and secondary DNS to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1 respectively, disabling uPnP via console and router, etc). *sigh* any other ideas anyone?i would back up all your files
i believe this might help

thoroughly enjoyed mass effect on my x360. odd that i'd hear people wouldn't support the idea of it coming over. it would only help in the future success of your favorite system. i would love for more people to enjoy it and not be prohibited to due to not having access to a competitor's console
uncharted: drake's fortune nor condemned 2 will patch properly, prompting the system to beep 3 times with nothing displayed on the tele. only by ejecting the game (or obviously doing a hard shut down), will the system automatically reset and turn itself back on.
*sigh* i'm at a total loss. i had purchased uncharted: drake's fortune within a month of its' release, beat it weeks later and put it aside. when i heard news of trophy support late last year, i thought i should pop that bad boy back in to give it a whirl. a patch was detected, so the game restarted, installed the patch then re-launched the game. the coin image loader on the bottom right just spun and spun. i've allowed it to sit for at most, 30 minutes, to no avail. rebooted console, same outcome. i've searched for similar issues via different forums that suggested removing the save or game data, which i then proceeded to do. upon retry, only then did the game stop loading altogether. i've had quite a few other games; homecourt, SC: DA, BiA: HH, mirror's edge, heavenly sword, GT5: P, killzone2, etc. that have had no issues whatsoever. so I've pretty much narrowed it down to this game being the issue.... or so i thought. just as i was about to sell my game, i received a brand new copy of Condemned 2. attempted to boot it up and it's got the same issue! game detects patch, but does not boot up. i've now tried removing every piece of ps3 game data and save data (i've backed up what i could on an external hdd) , yet the games still continue to have the same issues. any1 have any ideas?
if indeed true, this would be disheartening. would you happen to have a source?Well, on a further analysis of this subject, I'm thinking Sony is planning on making a profit from the user created levels. Probably a fee to be able to play them.
You see, about a month ago or so, new terms of use for the PSN came up (not sure if you're aware of this) and they said any content you uploaded into the PSN, will practically be Sony's property. Meaning, all user created levels belong to Sony now.
This alone wasn't bad, as users were not making profits so wth. But add this new copyright thing and I have a bad feeling for all LBP users. LEt's hope I'm wrong.
