I can see both ends of the argument, but I'll ultimately side with Sony on this one since their backs are against the wall. If you create a level that looks like a Nintendo game and then publish that on a Sony system, Sony then faces legal action for infringement, so in order to bypass that from ever happening they need to be proactive and remove anything that could possible get them in hot water. It's not because they don't want YOU creating clever little adds, it's preventing THEM from a sticky situation. It may be a little too harsh at the moment, but they are working to fix it and get it to a point where it works for everyone.
