My first year here.
by kamauldi on Comments
I have been here at Gamespot for a full year now, and even though I had some ups and downs throughout last year here, I stood on. :)
I remember I started becoming a member around eveningtime, and I started things off by making a Mario Party Quiz at the Mario Party 6 forum. By the time I left the internet just to make dinner for myself and then came back, that quiz already had some people answering it. While I was making dinner, I accidentally cut my left index finger with a knife which stayed there for days. It wasn't easy to type or do anything else with the injured finger, especially since I had to put a bandage on after I cut the poor sucker. Ouch.
Other than that, I did have some bad experience with some people that were very selfish and mean to me. When I made a topic just to help some people with a game (if you really must know, it's Pokemon), these people made fools out of me by putting down a fake Pokemon on my topic. Normally, I am not mean and sometimes I let people (or computer players in a game) get away with it, but this was different. Sometimes, it hurts me, either a little bit or very hard, and I am sensitive to that. After that prank (they said joke, but that wasn't funny), they kept on insulting me by saying I was stupid, although I tried to prove I wasn't. Things got very ugly, and I eventually knew there was no way to convince them; they are just in their own little world thinking that they are right and everyone else is wrong. As you can probably tell from the text above, I am thinking about the experience as I'm typing it down, and it's burning me up inside like fire. :x
Well, I am glad to know I have friends, even though I only have a few now and it's been a year. I am not worried. So, thank you very much. :P
This just in.

A new friend.
by kamauldi on Comments
Just recently, I had just become friends with someone who had just started here at Gamespot. So, to my other friends, let's give him a nice, warm welcome and confidence to stay with us in this website. Gamespot is a good way to make pals, I should say. I am mentioning this because I only have a few buddies, and it has been almost a year since I became a member here. To be honest, I don't talk much myself, but chatting with someone certainly has a warm feeling, don't you think?
Brrr....talk about cold.

Who wants to see Mechwarrior 5?
by kamauldi on Comments
Okay, I heard from someone that Mechwarrior 5 is still not being made yet. So, I decided to go back to my original plan with this union: for those who wish to see Mechwarrior 5, sign up under this post.
Secretly, I knew the game still wasn't made yet or is going to be created anytime soon. There was no recent news about it anyway. Sorry about the mix-up, guys.
Still, if you are interested by any chance, sign up here, and I'll allow you in.
Mektek is awesome. Let's all root for it. Behemoth is so cool, don't you think?
Mektek Pack 3
by kamauldi on Comments
I had just been able to install this pack along with its patches yesterday. My game looks so cool now, and there are so many mechs to choose from, I can't even count them all. As well as there are new faces, there are even old faces that have been around since Mechwarrior 2. It's like I'm playing those old games again. Of course, before I did any of the missions with them, I edited them, gave them new weapons that satisfies me, sacrificed a few things for others, etc.
You know my favorite mech is the Catapult, right? Well, I actually found out there's another one; one with nothing but lasers and ballistic weapons. Still, I'm more comfortable with the original, but we'll see.
Here are some of the old faces that I remember in Mechwarrior 2 that the Mektek gave me: Marauder, Crab, Hunchback, Jenner, Warhammer, Thug, Panther, Commando, Centurion, Assassin, Nova, Elemental, Firemoth, Grizzly, Grim Reaper, Gargoyle, UrbanMech, Orion, and Stalker.
Oh yeah, good times that became heartful memories to remember. At least, thinking about the Stalker itself, for example, reminds me of that mission that occurred in the second Mercenaries where you had to escort this convoy safely and take out the Mechs that attempt to destroy them. I thought the song in that mission was kind of weird.
But wasn't the original Marauder 50 tons heavy, not 75, like I remember? Also, didn't the Stalker have knees that pointed out forward and not back like that of people?
More about the union.

Alright, I did hear they are going to make the fifth game, after all. Thank goodness; I've been waiting years for that. So I like to change my summary below a little bit. Maybe I can just create a union where we chat about Mechwarrior in particular. News, tips, whatever. I don't know...this sounds kind of fun.
I still haven't done the union yet. Not until there's enough people to start things up with.
The creatures I like in Black and White.
by kamauldi on Comments
In Black and White and its expansion pack, I only like a few animal creatures I can choose from. My all-time favorite has been the zebra, but I also like the horse, the chicken, the rhino, and the crocodile. I don't care much for the monkeys or the bears, yet I find the cats, the wolf, and the other farm animals alright. In the games, I strive to one of the good gods, and have my creature (my zebra) be good, too.
Next, I like to brag a little bit about my creature if you don't mind. My zebra, Spirit, is to me one of the best creatures (aside from the horse since both creatures are alike with the exception of color and body shape) of them all. He loves to help me out by giving my people food/wood, water the trees, heal my people when they need it, and in Creature Isle, he randomly builds houses for them when I'm not watching. He's a real angel, which is the reason why I named him Spirit. In battles, he's pretty fast in evasion and attacking his foes, so I mostly depend on that while he's battling. He only knows how to heal himself and how to weaken his opponents, but it doesn't really matter much.
When I first started playing Black and White a few years back, my first creature was the tiger.
Oh man...

You've probably heard of the game Black and White right? Do you know it has an expansion pack called Creature Isle? Well, I played the expansion pack yesterday and I was able to complete the whole game by around late afternoon today.
Some of the challenges those creatures held were pretty easy, while some were either hard or just frustrating to beat. One of my favorite challenges was against Mercurio, and yet the challenge I hate the most was Naxo's challenge, but both of those challenges are not far off from each other at all. Naxo was harder to defeat since he put up more of a fight than Mercurio did, and more scars on my creature came from Naxo anyway. Dang.
I finished all the challenges with my beloved zebra, and after all of that, he ended up with a Brotherhood ring on his wrist and gave lots of loving to a mysterious female creature that had a thing for him for a while. All that loving gave him his own son to take care (I wonder how that happened).... If you would like to see what they look like, I can see if I can get a good picture to show you.
