The price wont be lower because they have old chipsets or anything, the new ones arent even out yet. Also its not a sort of cheap pricecut to get rid of the old ones before they get new ones in because they will soft launch them at the same price. Although I must admit im unsure as to why they have this good deal but if I was you I would go for it.

Think of it like this, you will spend years with this console so what does it matter that in the next 5 years, or 260 weeks, its in repair for 3 weeks. And thats IF it does break at all.

whats the diffrence between a wireless router and a wireless modem router and how do i know which I need to get?

Also I cant have a cable because there at opposite ends of the house.

If im going to get xbox live im going to need to buy:

Xbox360 wireless network adaptor= £60/$120

Microsoft 12 month gold subscription= £40/$80

and a wireless router= £60?/ $120

basically im not sure if ill be able to go on xbox live because my internet when i did speedtest was download 1889 and upload 376 so if it wont work because its too slow i will have wasted nearly £200/$400 on nothing.

Im loving my xbox360 and am very glad I chose it. I sold my wii to help get one and feel I am actually in the next gen now.

The 4 games I got with it are...

Gears of War, Oblivion, Command and conquer 3, Saints Row.

I am thorughly enjoying these games and I am going to get xbox live soon and get Halo 3. Also looking forward to Eternal Sonata and Mass Effect soon!

I really like the controller aswell it feels really sleek and is a PERFECT fit and comfy to hold.

I could of blogged this but meh... I wanted to tell everyone I am enjoying it and highly reccomend it to anyone else reading the forums who is considering an Xbox 360.

Im also glad they went with a lighter choice in colour for the 360, I much prefer it then the dark Xbox 1.

Or atleast it was in the old points system, I think gamespot are trying to raise there standards, although I still wouldn't say a 5.0 is average on the new scoring system. More like 6.0.
