I am sorry, but these events are fantastic for galvanizing and getting airtime. This will be taken as a sign of weakness on the part of Nintendo. As a fan, I am deeply disappointed as Nintendo conferences are like a breathe of fresh air in between all the violent dudebroness of the other conferences, especially M$.

Well, this is depressing news, I love there conferences. I always find them a breathe of fresh air after the two grey brown dudebro fests of the other two. This is def. not a good sign, even if minor.

Final Fantasy need to return to the turn based battles seen in FFX and before. It's a system that works. I hate the modern trend of JRPGS to essentially play themselves for you MMO style. I want to control my whole party, thanks.

What happened to studios just making games. Now it as to be some super epic "experience". This isn't a game it's a "multi generational content experience". IE: they don't want to have to create new games, they want a "platform/brand" that they can milk for the entirety of next generation, oh GOODY.
