I would get one day 1, but it is just too expensive. Might wait for a few months when more games launch and I am not so strapped from the holidays. I suspect that is what many folks will do.

Listen, do I think GameSpot is harsher on Japanese titles that are served by companies NOT paying for ad space on GameSpot? Ya. Is this a fair score...? Well, it might be a *tad* harsh, but honestly, this series has gone to shit. everyone know RE peaked with 4. From what I gather, this game is best when it tries to go old school, and worse when it does not.

I'll be honest, I think Greg is right in the most objective sense. However, I think Tom's moralizing here is noteworthy and refreshing. We have too any bro grey/brown/tan "kill the brown people" games. Just because the market demands such games right now doesn't mean it shouldn't be questioned or scrutinized. The industry has gotten ore brutal, and formulaic. I love a dark game, I even love a good violent game, but the way shooters are done now begs the kind of questions Tom is maybe trying to ask, even if he doesn't do the best job of it.

You have to be kidding me right? Did you watch the same conference the rest of us did? Seriously?! I own all three consoles each generation, I love them all for different reasons. But holy hell, wasn't usher grabbing his balls repeatedly enough to show everyone it sucked?

@aniforprez The problem is, social networking has taken over too many industries, and it's over hyped and useless for folks who just want to turn a box on, put in a disc (not dlc thanks, I like to *OWN* my content), and not have to buy dlc to finish there experience or get retailer exclusive pre order content from specific retailers while losing out on the other retailer goodies. What does that have to do with this? Well these social features and gimmicks are a symptom of the larger problem with gaming as it is now. All you needed to see was the hipster montage fighting zombies to see where the industry is going, it's a sad sad state of affairs.

I don't want more social networking hipster connectivity. I want games, I don't want obnoxious low res unattractive miis raping my start screen when I turn on my console. Good lord we have got to move beyond this trendy nonsense. I am digging the controller pro, but why release something like that when you have the wii u gamepad? Especially considering it has all the same buttons! Oh I know! They seem to have a keen desire to segment there audience some more and clearly lack faith in the controller. Seriously, I love nintendo, but the stupid name, ugly and way too "social" interface, and the lack of truly strong hardware makes this feel like another gimmicky money grab. Come on nintendo, you can do better......
