I have been looking VERY CLOSELY at this company since prices are so low (though marcpro is right, it's cheaper to build one yourself). However, I'd be VERY careful about the company--look at the customer complaints about bad customer service, and judge for yourself - see resellerratings.com and their own forums.

does anyone else have experiences with the company?? digitalstorm is much more reliable but more expensive

I am VERY interested in realmcomputers, good price for great comp. However, it say the i7 is SOLD OUT. Do you think I can still buy it this weekend? Is the $1700.00 price the full price, or does the deep discount this weekend mean it will be a lot less? Does the 1700.00 include postage and handling, and tax?

can you tell me anything else about the company? have you heard many others have good experiences? any complaints?

I tried to reach them by phone and it said that no one was available tonight , even though they say they have open hours until 10 PM. They have strange hours on saturday, I believe they said they are open from 4-10 on saturday--do you think I can contact them earlier? Very anxious bc this seems like a great deal. thanks

ok, you guys have made me reconsider. I assumed that was actually a very good price for the system quoted to me (the gtx 295 is $500, so it's bound to be an expensive system i thought)

Marcpro, you mentioned that you could tell me the parts for a very good gtx295, i7 920 system that is cheaper than what I was given. Can you please provide me the links to the parts in newegg and the overall cost (or whatever way you want to do it)? Or anyone else who wants to chime in.

Perhaps I should consider building myself as you all say if it's a big difference in price-I'm just afraid that if there are problems while I'm building it, I may get stuck and frustrated. But perhaps I should try anyway. Thanks.
