In the Catalyst Control Center try turning up the fan speed a little bit. The default fan speed for my 4870 X2 was 20%, turned up to 40% and temps dropped 20c on idle and 30c on load.

Dang, if you posted this like 2 or 3 months ago you could've gotten a Corsair 1000HX for around $165 after MIR. Newegg had a sale on PSUs a few months back with like 20% off and the PSU included a $25 MIR.

SilverStone ST75F 750w PSU 100% Modular

Can the PSU fan on yours still exaust hot air though?UltimateGamer95
Most cases how mounting holes for the psu that enable it to be mounted with the fan on the PSU facing the top or bottom of the case.

I recently saw a decently priced, nice cooling full tower on a pre-built PC website. Newegg has it for $110 without S&H.

I thought it looked pretty good too. Front 120mm fan, rear 120mm fan, top 120mm fan and a side 220mm fan. It also includes pre-installed acousticdampening material AND you can replace the side 220mm fan with up to no less than SIX 120mm fans and another top 120mm fan.

Only ONE SLI bridge is required for 2 GPU SLI. 3 SLI Bridges are required for Tri-Sli, hence the 2 SLI fingers on each Tri-SLI capable video card

This is probably your best best for a low~mid end gaming video card.

Nvidia 9600 GSO

has $20 MIR too. So it's $40 after MIR. Free S&H.

If you can spend the extra cash you can pick up a HD 4670 for $10 more.

You WILL need to upgrade the PSU.

I don't know about the case though.
