You could get a bad part, just have to RMA it. Most companies will provide support on how to install their products into your PC. The motherboard usually comes with an in-depth manual on how to install all the components though.

The pre-built I posted is really well done though and is extremely hard to beat for that amount of cash.

The expected release time frame was around 30 days from the press release on September 22nd on Anandtech and a few other sites.

FYI, it WON'T launch with Cross Vendor GPU usage. They are still working on that, IE No ATI + Nvidia.

They will cost over $500 when Nvidia comes out with their 300 series LOL...

Nvidia has, as far as I seen lately, launched a new series at around $500-$600.

This would also be a great purchase as well.

Exactly, it's to stop people from coming here in saying what they have instead of showing it.

I could say I have an i7 975, 12GB of Corsair Dominator GT DDR3-2000, EXGA X58 Classified, 3xXFX 5870s, 3 24" 1920x1200 monitors, ABS Tigas case, ABS 1050w Single +12v Rail PSU with full chilled liquid cooling....

No way to prove I have any of that...

It's dead in the sense no more new processors, but I am sure Intel still makes lga 775 cpus still. Though I would get an i7/i5. And tbh, I don't like that setup. I could build something better for 900$ lol. (No os, I am in technet and dreamspark lol)JigglyWiggly_
Actually, Lynnfield/Clarkdale is Intel's "We're getting rid of LGA 775 ASAP, so you have to buy new Mobos and CPUs." Lynnfield is just the first step, but Clarkdale is meant to be the end of LGA 775. Intel is going to stop making CPUs here within a year or less for LGA 775.

Conflict: Denied Ops
Space Siege
DarkStar One
Frontlines: Fuel of War

I actually enjoyed the gameplay of Far Cry 2, it was really fun. I didn't like the story though or the NPCs respawning at cross roads and crap.

Only problem your going to see is that Intel isn't making chips anymore for LGA 775.

Meaning if you want to upgrade you'll need mobo, RAM and CPU... I'm sure you knew that though.

It'll usually go to default voltages if you just increase or decrease by one. Thats what it does on mine anyways.

It's 1.1v~1.2v though.
