It's not really hard. All of the parts, almost, come with instructions on how to install the parts.

The motherboard, for example, comes with instructions on how to install RAM, the CPU, sometimes video cards and how to connect optical and hard drives to it.

You can save between a couple hundred to a little over a thousand dollars by building it yourself.

We even have a guide right here in this section of the forums telling you how to build one.

We also have well informed members of this community who are more then willing to help you with picking parts for the PC and help you build it as well.

If you don't feel like building it yourself though, you can always find a local computer store and ask them if they would build it for you if you brought them the parts and paid them to do so.

The 5870 is stronger then a GTX 295, without PhysX.

In games.... though the HD 4870 X2 is better in Vantage ATM. We also know though that driver support for new products is not the best and gets better over time.

If you live in the U.S. the standard outlet on your wall supports a maximum of 1600W...

MajorGamer531

You can still buy it in the US though because it comes with a cable tha thas a fuse built into it which is why it is available in the US.

SilverStone makes a 1500w PSU now though.

So if you got 2 20A circuits in your PC room one next to the other your good to go or have a 110v 30a circuit.

Like I do :D

There's plenty of cable spliter that can fix that...

Bebi_vegeta

The PSU is also made by a not so reliable manufacturer. You'd be better of buying a PC Power & Cooling 1200w, ABS SL1050, SilverStone ST-1200 or SilverStone ST1500.

[QUOTE="BeavermanA"][QUOTE="Bebi_vegeta"]

When was 1200w needed?

Bebi_vegeta

"Future Proofing" of course!

Why don't you get a 2000w while your at it...:P

http://www.legitreviews.com/article/436/1/

That PSU SUCKS!

It only has FOUR 6-Pin connectors. So you could use anything like a GTX 295 or GTX 4870 X2 with it.
