How many times do these theads need to be created and how many times do the creaters need to get badly owned before people stop this nonsense? Both Crysis 2 on consoles and KZ3 look like ass when compared to Crysis "anything" on the PC anyway!

Actually the xbox 360 version of Crysis 2 looks about same as the PC version maxed
For one im worried that my launch 360 could brake down and then my mass effect character which i want to carry on to me3 that iv played with from me1 will die with my xbox. im also a huge mass effect fan and havent played the dlc. none of it on the 360 so i would be getting new unseen content.
has any one done this and then regretted it?

You cant play Mass Effect 1 on PS3, so that is not an option imo, to play the trilogy must stick to 360
Then Turn10 is okay in that aspect, but not rare. Rare has not gone beyond 84 in metacritic.

Which is fine, since the best games this generation are the 7.5-9.0 scoring ones and the worst the 9+ ones, for me at least that dont like 5 hour repeatitivegames and only rent them
Normally, games that are in the 90+ on metacritic means players will ultimately enjoy them regardless the genre they like. 80s means normally that you should be inclined to like the genre. 70s, you should like the genre quite a bit or the saga itself. 60s, all of 70, plus there's some faults. 50s, same as before, with too many faults.
Actually the 90+ are games only casuals will enjoy, usually are linear and 5-7 hours cinematic titles with basic gameplay
Developers only lately take advantage of 360 hardware, that is very complicated to optimize for, that is why Alan Wake, Halo Reach look so amazing and Crysis 2 best looking on consoles
With the coming Codename Kingdoms, Fable 4 with new Rage like engine, Alan Wake 2, Gears 3 and Forza 4 will top anything in the market visually
