Get an xbox 360 for the exlusives, it gets most PC games as well

I would never miss Dark Souls, yet 360 gets both Skyrim and Witcher 2 and probably Diablo 3 too

Mature or kiddy, the games aren't exactly high quality.

Just focus on making a quality game instead of trying to target a specific audience.

Lto_thaG

And do you know that aren't high quality?

The devs have confirmed that the game supports both mouse and keyboard and gamepad.

They said they built TWO different interfaces to best handle the two types of input.

That's EXACTLY what we PC gamers want. More options (M&K or controller) and care taken to seperate the two, giving us a control scheme/camera/GUI that takes into account the strengths and weaknesses of BOTH.

I wish more devs did this.

Hell, most devs will actually tell you right off the bat that they're too lazy to do that! Bioware, for example.

Kinthalis

Indeed, making the game for xbox 360 actually benefited the PC version as well, both with a more efficient engine and more control options

[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"] Demon's Souls would have worked better with a kb/mouse, and The Witcher 2 still has all the dice rolls in the background. GeneralShowzer

Demons Souls would loose 99% of its appeal with a keyboard and mouse for me

I'm with you on this one. I would probably have to dust off my 360 controller for The Witcher 2 by the looks of it.

I will definatly play it with a 360 pad, like i did with Xpadder abd Amnesia and made the game far more immersive

Thank god for the native support

I will also definatly buy the xbox 360 version too when it comes later

Im talkign about overall here, story cahracters is what I need in an rpg, the gameplay is a bonus. Understand? Nothing I said in that post was insulting, but if you take it that way then fine go ahead.

The game world looks huge and awesome grpahics, the story and characters look good, the gameplay looks improved, you comaring it to Fable3 is hilarious, that game was garbage.

SAGE_OF_FIRE

No, I don't understand how the game-play can be a bonus in an RPG.

Demon Souls is one of the best RPG's this gen and it barely even have a story.

Nothing in my post related to story or characters... You still didn't answer my question. It plays the same as Fable III. It might not be super easy or insanely imbalanced, but that's the idea with the combat. Fable III or Demon Souls..

Demon's Souls would have worked better with a kb/mouse, and The Witcher 2 still has all the dice rolls in the background.

10 minute gameplay video, with combat.

Unlike the previous game it has no free isometric camera, it doesn't have the mouse interface while in game , instead it has twitchy dodge mechanics, mash to attack, fixed camera, and a combat interface taken straight from Dragon Age (console version)

Works like a console action RPG ala Fable III or Demon Souls.

The Witcher 2 looks better in almost every way than the Witcher , I'm not saying it doesn't, but how do PC gamers feel about the sudden change in direction.

Discuss.

kozzy1234

It is made for consoles from day one, the engine, interface and you will notice how it is always on paths than wide open spaces

They hire people for 360 development as we speak too, so obviously is like that because is coming to consoles

Just like The Witcher1 was comign to consoles for sure years ago right? They hired peopel to work on that and that got canned.

This is a pc exclusives that MIGHT be coming to consoles one day.

Hell, ARMA2 had peopel working on a version for cosnoles but that never came out either.
Did you forget about The WItcher1 being worked on for consoles and then canned?

I had a friend bet em 25$ taht The Witcher1 would come to consoles soon after the pc version but that never happened, they had people working on it but it got cancelled. Same thign could happen with the Witcher2 we will see. But as of right now its beign built ground up for PC with HOPE that they can port it to consoles one day (might not come to consoles though just like Witcher didnt, even though they said they were working on The Wticher1 for consoles)

First of all, Withcer 1 cancellation does not in any shape or form mean that Withcer 2 will not come to consoles

Also W1 was made for PC and they tried to port to consoles, which is 100% different than Withcer 2 that is already confirmed to be running on xbox 360

I also hope they bring the one for PSP also..PS3 is getting a good amount of games..I don't know if I can keep up with this OVERLOAD of games:cry:..

Promised_Trini

Aside Last Guardian that looks unique, i dont see anything else i like in PS3 lineup and this game is no exeption, seems another generic title i would maybe rent, but i prefer to rent Uncharted 3 over it

because is more advanced engine and optimized for consoles from day one, will easilly run on them

The developers have tested and run the engine on consoles and have confirmed it10 times, also the game is DX9, what consoles use, like Crysis 2

Looking at Crysis 2 on 360, idont see why this would not run with a properstreaming engine, in factwill easilly run on xbox 360

tenaka2

Your right, the more complex and graphically rich a game becomes the easier it is to port.

Well, it is all in the optimization

Crysis 2 that looks 10x better than Withcer 2, runs fine on xbox 360 and is a latest game and the best looking ever (and probably for the next 5 years)

I am sure will be impossible to find a publisher with a multimillion selling game like Witcher

tenaka2

They did find a publisher for the Witcher but due to tech limitations of the consoles the game couldn't be ported and the project was cancelled. What makes you think a more advanced version of the the same engine will be able to ported this time?

Actually exactly because is more advanced engine and optimized for consoles from day one, will easilly run on them

The developers have tested and run the engine on consoles and have confirmed it 10 times, also the game is DX9, what consoles use, like Crysis 2

Looking at Crysis 2 on 360, i dont see why this would not run with a proper streaming engine, in fact will easilly run on xbox 360

Now, what makes you think that something already running on xbox 360 will eventually somehow not run on it ?
