"When you jump, you get wet." You don't want to see a slew of knee-jerk reactions that will only confuse things. Can't say I've ever agreed with Bernie until now. Tires: Give them only softs, they'll degrade and someone will decide they can make up the time on track lost by pitting. Need larger rear tires. Engines: Only the big companies, you know, the ones with money to spend, are producing engines. Give them free reign to produce any naturally aspirated V8 engine. And cut the rev limit. Areo: Killing the double diffusers should cut a ton (literally) of down force. Tracks: Use the not-awful ones. If they raced on the "Outer Circuit" at Bahrain, it would have been a much better race. People: Kill Max, Bernie and Tilke. I'll keep reiterating this until the deed is done. Rules: Let FOTA decide them?XSamFisherX
All of this needs to take place, the cars of the 1980s and 1990s were based around the idea of a wider car, wider tires, lower revs, and the cars were settled around mechanical NOT Aero grip, Why cars after 1999 and 2000 started to become aero dependent, who the **ck knows, it was pointless, F1 admittedly has had some amazing times since then. But the cars need to be made to have mechanical grip and not AERO.
This way cars can follow each other without fear of all that dirty air disturbing them as much etc, and can follow each other around tight bends and get them on straights.
Fisher has the right idea.
