I fail to understand this issue every time it comes up here. If you don't believe, then you don't believe. Your choice: -decide it is worth it to have arguments and tell them -decide you don't care enough to argue and wait till you leave homerawsavon
parents are supposed to impose thier values on thier children. Its called socialization. Makes parents feel like a failure, havent you ever argued with your parents and been completley right? And all they say is "this discussion is over". They cant bear to be wrong.

I was driving down the street, i see somone holding a sign. It has a picture of obama with a hitler stache'. It reads "IMPEACH OBAMA". Now, the only bad thing hitler did was try to rule europe and commit genocide, nothing major :P. Other than that, he was a great leader. He motivated people, brought a country out of ruin. He was amazing. So..... wtf hobo dude? Wtf? Anybody have any possible reasoning?

[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] Just play the game from your personal opinion then...will be more fun than the back and forth. scenario: You have an unknown disorder that causes you to kill 100 people in their sleep. Yes, but it wasnt your fault even tho you caused it.

If your brain is faulty, are you at fault or is your brain at fault? "No it wasn't me! It was my brain that did it!". Hmm....

Laws are in place for sane people, not insane people. You cant apply the same laws.

This is a US court...Yes or NO only (you are not playing the game :x )

Im going with the insanity plea here (YOU have...) :P Now, if i was on the court, id probably give the death sentence. 100 kills is insane. Now if it was maybe one murder, maybe two, life in a mental institution. Although im curious, how would you kill 100 people overnight?

[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] I support this question. I have not seen any studies on this. I do know that many people 'accept Jesus' on a daily basis...but how many in relation to those that denounce Jesus is unknown. There are famous books written by both groupsrawsavon
Well it seems that way. Have you ever seen anyone switch from atheism to christianity or any religon for that matter?

People accept Jesus everyday/every week in church Famous book for you to Google: The Case for Christ (atheist tries to disprove God and ends up believing) The question is what is the ratio (a to b versus b to a)

Well obviously there are people who switch, but personally, ive never seen atheism to religion. Im only 16 though, so that could be it.

Let me put on my serious hat for a moment.

Although I disagree with your reasons for not believing, I respect your decision. You're not alone and many people make the same decision you have for the same reasons. With that said, no one on this board knows your family as well as you do. If you feel you can talk to them and they will respect your decision, then go for it. If you feel it will make things worse between you and your family, then you may want to wait for now. It all comes down to how comfortable you are talking with them openly about issues such as religion.

hmm. Well from what you've said, I now know i have to wait till i'm out of the house. :P But I'm just curious what you don't agree with for me not believing.

I think its because, you cant take the bible literally. God wont help you, but he will give you the chance to help yourself.
