[QUOTE="kipohippo021"]sell some, eat some. :DBaconbits2004How many would you eat? 'some' in this case could be hundreds of thousands. O.O till i get sick of em at least. id also give some to the poor.
But it dosent need to make it more expensive for people as well. Those companies are rich already. Raising rates kinda defeats the purpose of this all.[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"]Er all those changes WILL increase the cost.:|coolbeans90
No, the purpose wasn't to curb costs, the bill specifically targeted accessability to those who weren't already covered. Realisitcally, the health insurance industry has a MUCH lower profit margin than most other types of business. (3.3%) Raising rates just keeps the industry afloat. Affordability isn't going to be noticably altered by lowering the costs by 3.3% that insurance companies take in. There will have to be some other forms of cost cutting to make a significant difference.
but more money means more coverage. So by raising prices, arent they kinda destroying the whole point? Some of those are well needed, but alot of those just are another exuse to raise prices. i think we should all start giving recomendations to the tc.IcyToasters thinks you're missing out on watching "The Boondock Saints" and "Jurassic Park"!

[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="xJust_CraZyx"]Either way, when i meant intoxicated i didnt mean alcohol. Something a little more.... visual if you catch my drift. I agree, getting in the car wasnt the smartest thing, but i did and survived without a crash or anything. While you didnt, even while your friend was fine. oh, you meant they were on drugs. admitting to any illegal activity is against the ToU ;)"in·tox·i·cat·ed

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but intoxicated is like the same things as drunk.

[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="JadeNic"]So then, wouldnt driving in a city be more dangerous because you have a higher chance of crashing? Where as im sure there are as many fatal crashes in the city as rural, just not as high of a percentage. Well yeah but if you think about it, most of the accidents in the city are small fender benders. Where as like in my case, running into a tree or hitting a ditch and flipping over. Im sorry for being such a jerk, but im just not the same person any more. My bad experiences has pretty much wrecked my faith in teenage drivers, and im really not fully confident in some adult drivers. I guess rural is more dangerous, but city has a higher chance of a crash. Either way, if i had to choose, id chose rural. I hate driving in the city. You are probably correct. There are probably more car accidents in urban areas, given that there are more people. But which area gets more fatal car crashes? "Fatal crash incidence density was more than two times higher in rural than in urban areas. This was driven primarily by the injury fatality rate, which was almost three times higher in rural areas."
