[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="JuggaloRandall"] So whats your point? Is there a moral to the story? Do you believe its cool to drive with wreckless drivers and drunk drivers? Thats not a very good policy eh?xJust_CraZyx

But they didnt crash even while intoxicated (not once did i say drunk ;)). Its not fair to judge teens as a whole like this when its only a select few individuals.

"in·tox·i·cat·ed
[in-tok-si-key-tid] Show IPA
–adjective
1.
affected by a substance that intoxicates; drunk; inebriated."

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/intoxicated

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, but intoxicated is like the same things as drunk.

Either way, when i meant intoxicated i didnt mean alcohol. Something a little more.... visual if you catch my drift. I agree, getting in the car wasnt the smartest thing, but i did and survived without a crash or anything. While you didnt, even while your friend was fine.

The entire state is not rural. The 14 1/2 age limit is the same in the city as it is in rural areas. And my driver's license was valid anywhere, as in, when I moved to New York for the summer when I was 15, I could still drive there.

The worst car accidents I have seen didn't even involve 2 cars. Imagine driving 75mph down an empty road with no street lights late at night. I think it is ridiculous to compare which is more dangerous when they are dangerous for different reasons.

Well, what area gets more crashes? the city or rural areas? you cant honeslty say its the rural areas, there has to be a study somewhere about this.

You are probably correct. There are probably more car accidents in urban areas, given that there are more people. But which area gets more fatal car crashes? "Fatal crash incidence density was more than two times higher in rural than in urban areas. This was driven primarily by the injury fatality rate, which was almost three times higher in rural areas." (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1730169/)

So then, wouldnt driving in a city be more dangerous because you have a higher chance of crashing? Where as im sure there are as many fatal crashes in the city as rural, just not as high of a percentage.

I guess that explains the minor rate jumps.

The rate jumps are due to insurance companies, not the law (the rates were going up before the law was even in effect). They're raising premiums to feed the "more expensive care" myth and get people to go against the bill, because the ones hurt the most by this bill are the insurance companies.

Er all those changes WILL increase the cost.:|

But it dosent need to make it more expensive for people as well. Those companies are rich already. Raising rates kinda defeats the purpose of this all.

Seriously? Since when has being homosexual had anything to do with twilight? It sounds more like he would watch it to get the weekend rather than for fun.

[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="JuggaloRandall"] Im not gonna say anything to get myself modded, but I will say that its not very smart to be riding around with drunk drivers. JuggaloRandall
either way, they didnt crash. Nor have they gotten in a crash to this date. While your friends (not intoxicated i assume) got into a crash.
