Mmm i look at it like this,

People like to belive GOD created the earth and universe for us.

But why would GOD create a planet like earth for us and only make 0.5% of the earth habitable (the crust)???

we cannot use the solar system , and we have a measly .5% of the planet to live upon.

Seems a pretty floored plan to me.

Its like popping an aomebas in the ocean and giving it a thimble to live in.

Talking about OS, why is that MS just can't make an OS as good as Apple? It is due to proprietary hardware or something?

All the OS from Apple are so fast, smooth and basically free of glitches! When you use an Apple computer for the first time the difference is so huge that you just can't believe how the heck you have been stuck with Windows for such a long time. Even Windows 7 as it is right now it still has many issues and some of them are from way back since Windows 98.

But the sad thing is that I'm studiying Computer Science so, for the time being I'm just stuck with everything Windows (Visual Studio)and I find funny that all my professors hate MS so much too. I'm on my 3 year and I'm yet to hear any positive thing about Windows from any of them.:lol:

Talking from personal experience, I'm a senior IT consultant at a university with 250 Mac's and 560 pc`s to look after.

MAC OSX snow leopard and windows 7 are pretty much equal. When you look at the average of faults under both operating systems they come in around the same.

Visa was a very good OS if you had really good hardware, it was very intensive with what hardware it was installed upon, i found it rock solid on good pricey hardware and bloody awful on cheap hardware.

Hence such a bad rap from many users, particularly ones using lower end kit.

So i would say that i would have to disagree with a majority of what you have said.

I get a lot of students doing IT related degrees that come out with such wild statments, i did a degree many years agobut that does not give you the amount ofcredibility that experience carries.

Also even Charlie Miller the MAC security Guru stated that a window 7 is now more secure than OSX.

Only game i can think of fits a description any thing like that what i remeber ,

was possibly ZAXXON (sega).

Age of conan it sucked as a mmorpg.

As others have said wolfenstine 3d, doom, quake were huge revolutionary steps.

PC :

Dungeon Master (first ever 3d RPG was awesome at the time.)

Bards tale (was unmatched rpg until diablo came along)

Dragons lair (introduced full motion video)

Elite (3d flight & space sims)

Quake (one of first FPS to use a 3d graphics card)

counter strike (not the first mod but the most important mod in gaming history)

Way of the exploding fist & ye ar kung fu (fighting games)

arcades brought us , pole position, out run, afterburner, paper boy, virtual cop.
