I use 3rd person view almost all the time in both games. 1st person makes me feel sorta sick most of the time. I'm slowly getting used to it but prefer 3rd person.

I'm interested in it, but unfortunately I have too many unfinished games at this point. I have to play through a few more before I'll be able to buy any more.

I really like Dragon Age. It's a role playing game where you do gain experience and go up levels and choose where to put your skill points kind of like Oblivion, but there are many differences also. You start alone but quickly gain party members to travel and fight with you. You've got freedom to tackle quests in any order you want but feels more structured than Oblivion. You will have control over how they develop as well. I'm about 40-50 hours into the game (over a 5 month period) and still enjoying it. It's not a perfect game but neither is any other game I know of. If you get it I hope you enjoy it!

Warhark was the first but didn't play it long. Didn't have the time to invest to be competitive. Uncharted 2 was the 2nd. Really like playing that on line with my son.

One of the nice things about Borderlands is that you can play solo or co-op at any time. You can use the same character throught the whole game and play solo or drop in and out of multiplayer games at will with no penalty to your character. Whatever weapons and money you get playing solo carries over into the multiplayer and vice versa. On the downside the headset comms are hit and miss with this game. It is a lot of fun though.

I can't watch someone play a fps without getting sick feeling. This is also a big problem playing multi-player fps's with split screen. Out door environments aren't too bad but tight, cramped indoor areas are pretty bad. Prefer 3rd person view.

I enjoyed FF VII when it originally came out on the Ps1 and thought it was one of the best RPGs that I had played, but I don't think I have any interest in playing it again just because the graphics would be better. I think the random battles and the silly mini-games would just drag on and on and be very boring compared to the modern games that are available now.
