Just a quick warning to help others not make the mistake I did. My son and I really liked playing Borderlands co-op split screen but wanted to be able to have the whole screen to ourselves. We bought a 2nd copy of Borderlands so we could play co-op online from different rooms with 2 PS3s using the Sony Bluetooth headsets like we do with Uncharted 2. The communication quality on Borderlands is horrible. We can't understand each other well enough to even play any more. Our voices constantly cut in and out, sometimes not working at all for 5-10 minutes before working poorly again. This is not just a 1 time event. It is like this most of the times we have tried to play. Borderlands is a very fun game except for the poor quality of voice comms. The Borderlands forum is full of similar complaints. Hope this helps someone else from wasting money.

I have no intention of paying for PSN. Free PSN was one of Sonys bragging points that helped influence my decision to buy a PS3 over another gaming system. I think it would be dishonest of them to wait until they have a large install base that is used to using PSN and then start to charge for it. I really like my PS3 but would be leery of trusting Sony in the next generation, if they start charging now.

I play most games for the single player experience. I really enjoy a game where the story pulls you in and makes you care about the characters and where the plot is leading. I really enjoyed Uncharted 1 and 2 and Bioshock. I have purchased Heavy Rain but have not played it yet. Looking forward to it though.

Bioshock 1 is a great game. I hadn't played a fps style game for many years, (because they make me dizzy and kinda sick feeling) but made the exception for Bioshock and am really glad. I just had to rest my eyes occasionally. The story is really interesting and the pacing has you always wanting to play just a little longer to see what happens next. I have not played Bioshock 2 yet.

As long as you don't mind the narrower field of view caused by splitting the screen, it is a pretty fun way to play.

I won't be getting it for quite a while. I'm interested in it but have too many other games on my plate right now. Dragon Age, and Uncharted 2 taking up most of my time.

Hi, My son and I play uncharted 2 on-line from different ps3's in different rooms using the Sony Bluetooth headsets to communicate with each other with no problems, but when we try to do this with Borderlands is doesn't work near as well. At best our talking is clipped with only about half of what we are saying getting through to the other headset. Sometimes it is much worse and one of us won't be able to hear the other at all. Both headset batteries are charged. Any help on what might be causing this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is anyone else having unusual trouble with their headset coms during Borderlands on-line. I don't have much experience with my new headset but it seems to work well when playing Uncharted 2 on-line, but is very choppy and most of the time unusable when trying to play Borderlands on-line with my son on a different PS3 in another room. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
