It's kind of odd how the only people who have anything against Macs and Mac gaming are people who have PCs. You do realize that it doesn't affect you in any way. As far as gaming goes on the Mac and steams new Mac service, I would say that it is a good business move seeing as I've bought $40 in Mac games in the past month from steam. Also, my next computer won't be a mac as I plan to build my own PC, but I really like OSX compared to Windows, Hence the reason why I went with Mac to begin with.

Depends on what games you want to play on such laptop.
I have a 9" netbook that I got for $180 and when overclocking you can play Hitman 2 silent assasin and contracts on medium/high graphics (and NOLF on high).

Has anyone confirmed that HL2 mods such as Dystopia etc. will work on the recently released versions of HL2 for Mac?
