@catsimboy: Very true! Especially in the first one hahaha. I only found out that I can arm them with any weapon in my third playthrough which helped lots but still, the AI had a tendency to be horribly suicidal to the point I had to sometimes exploit flaws in the map just to get them around without being chewed on.

Oh man I have the same hopes for State of Decay 2, I loved the first one to bits! Fingers crossed for it to live up to our standards too. At the very least Dying Light is doing a great job till then satisfying my zombie fill, glad I jumped into that game late.

@dominoodle: Ah thats such a waste! Whats the point of the whole game then hahaha

I hear there is also no more multiple endings? The more I look into this game the more it seems like its Dead Rising minus everything that makes it Dead Rising.

I always feel like I'm in an outcast minority when I say Dead Rising was at its best when the time limit was the driving (or at least one of the driving, like in DR2) factor in the game, and that making it so lax in 3 and outright tossing it out in 4 was the worst decision to be made for the series.

Its just, it gave the first two games such awesome structure and, depending on what you wanted to achieve for that playthrough, it forced you to come up with awesome long and short term strategies to get stuff done. And besides, there were always tons of time between main missions to do the random wacky sandbox crap the game is known for, heck those breather moments were the best part because once you're back doing missions after all the experimentation you try incorporate the crazy ass things you did into your game plan.

The game was always made to have multiple playthroughs, heck you could dedicate one to just messing around, you have like 7+ hours to do so and your character carries over anyway so I don't get that complaint. And I never understood why people got so pissed at not being able to do everything in the first go when the entire point is to learn and do it multiple times until you are masterful enough to do everything in one playthrough.

Now we're just stuck with a game where the novelty wears off the moment you once tried all it has to offer in the first few hours as there's just not that overall dynamic anymore enticing you to use them in ways other than "for the lulz". Also no more psychos? Damn Capcom...

But thats just me, lots of people asked for Dead Rising to be like this and they got it, I'm surprised its doing so meh actually.

@SilentAssassin: You and pretty much most people. I feel the multiplayer mode has its following but really, those wanting single player DLC far outweigh those wanting multiplayer stuff, they're missing out on a big opportunity here!

"If [Vivendi] manages to acquire a 30 percent stake in [Ubisoft], it'll be forced by French law to table a mandatory takeover bid and pursue a controlling stake," Gamasutra reported.

he media group manages to acquire a 30 percent stake in the studio, it'll be forced by French law to table a mandatory takeover bid and pursue a controlling stake

Pretty sloppily written article overall Makuch :/

I kinda wish the updates would rather add more levels and content to the infinitely superior single player mode but eh, this is still pretty neat regardless. Since the old Cstrike and DoD days I've been a big fan of bots.

The problem here is that people are taking a fucking joke review of the game seriously.

Jesus guys common sense much?
