@Thanatos2k: Of course, I wouldn't expect less from Blizzard especially after the huge ripoff that is Overwatch lootboxes and real money auction house.

But hey, don't you know? Blizzard can never do anything wrong! So this is totally alright of them to do.

@Lacerz: I'm truly flattered by the effort you put into your reply for me.

Throw in a candlelight dinner as well and I'll show you how I "rest on my laurels" rowr!

I think its great really, Sony has been resting on their laurels way too much lately with the PS4. MS has been doing cool stuff with its backwards compatibility, the Scorpio is shaping up to be an actual upgrade compared to the Pro and even the Windows/XB1 cross-platform thing is very cool(although the Windows store is the most atrocious thing in existence) while Sony has been doing...errr....um...

....What worthwhile gaming thing has Sony been doing other than VR which is just for a niche crowd anyway?

@scottyp360: Let me have a look for you quick and I'll respond :)

EDIT: PC version is definitely online only from what I've experienced as the join game function doesn't work with my Steam in offline mode. (Not sure how the GOG version is though).

Do you mean local as in split-screen though?

For the later console releases that might be possible though, but I'm honestly not sure. Maybe ask at the game's official forums (if it has?) and see what response you get!

Game's pretty good, its like a crazy Asian Torchlight FPS with lots of dick jokes.

Also the chainsaw in this game is absolutely on point, its satisfying as all hell slowly cutting through demons and makes DOOM's saw look like kid stuff (no offense to that game of course, that game is amazeballs).

Solo is great so far for those curious, fortunately the game was developed with solo primarily in mind and the co-op is really just a fantastic addition (as all your buds are just extra ninjas joining Wang's journey basically).

Also yes the jokes are terrible, but not in a "bad" way. You get exactly the kind of humor you'd expect from a game with a protagonist named Lo Wang and its great if its your kind of thing.

I've been playing it a lot and I must say its ultimately a very flawed gem;

The story and presentation is absolutely excellent, and the gameplay is solid but their effort to make the sandbox element relevant unfortunately resulted in a lot of filler and repetitive missions dragging the experience down. Its also not a very classic Mafia experience because of it, and that will certainly have lots of fans rushing for the torches and pitchforks.

But is it a bad game? Hell no, I'm personally loving it. Ultimately its the kind of game that really needs a demo as its something you have to play for a bit to truly decide whether you'll like it or not and it also doesn't help that I'm biased towards games like this as its right up there with Advent Rising as a semi-broken and rather flawed experience but with a lot of heart.

....So yeah get it on a good sale if you're uncertain.

@Fia1: And it sounds like he finished it with his description of new game+? Its a bit jarring haha when you listen to what the game features.

Maybe its like Bayonetta in the sense that its all about going through multiple playthroughs on multiple difficulties (and hopefully having multiple unlocks) to get the most out of the game.

@cassar31: With Shadow Warrior its understandable though, the game plays like a first person Devil May Cry of sorts and firing off all kinds of different attacks fast works a bit nicer on your standard controller compared to your standard kb/m setup. It did for me anyway with the first Shadow Warrior haha.

And besides, let people play the way they want. The only time its blasphemy is if its a hamburger or pizza and the guy eats it with a knife and fork.
