I'm glad you liked it. The game itself is not an amazing moment to moment type of game. Like some people say the boat and car parts where too long (ADD people in my opinion). Once you finish it and look back at all that you did, the game as a whole is astonishing to me. Really a great well thought through game.

There are some mods that can be directly downloaded and played through steam having no need to worry about screwing up the normal game.

Sounds like your missing a file. Either the download was corrupt or missing some parts, uninstall the demo, try downloading the demo again, then reinstall. If you get the same message check some Crysis support forums. That's what I would do.

I never have used DLC I do use Steam though. Anytime Valve releases a game through steam they get constant updates for free. For example, Team Fortress 2, is still being updated to this day. Everything from new weapons, to balancing issues in multiplayer. Valve is leading the industry on digital distribution, DLC is just a small step in it's way.

[QUOTE="koza_76"]

Hey I'm running

AMD X2 6000+

Radeon HD 3850

2 Gigs DDR2

ASUS M3A78-EMH HDMI (the mobo was free)

Thinking of getting a new GPU, but waiting for a price drop, any suggestions on upgrading?

Daytona_178
4870....but really that still a pretty good graphics card.

It's alright it does get me through some great games. COH, L4D, F3 (a little choppy around 30-45 FPS) COD4, and Far Cry 2 actually I have settings mostly on high with some shadows on medium at 800 X 600, and it runs alright not extremely smooth but playable. I think I'll wait for April. Thanks for the info guys.
