Finished the game in about 12 hours on path of the warrior. in the end, its a fantastic game, just not as good as the orignal.

Did you think Path of the warrior was easy? Path of the Warrior seems easy for me, but some of the fights I can tell will be difficult on the harder levels.

I know someone who has this game he said Path of the Warrior was too hard for him, but when he started to play Path of the Acolyte it was way too easy.

The 1st half of the game is pretty easy. All you need to do is button mash to get by. Its gets harder in the latter parts when the game starts thowing mutiple bosses at you.

Path of the acolyte is really too easy, even easier than Ninja Dog of before

Hi..I am new here and have never played an NG game before. Here are my thoughts though--I really don't agree to the last statement. How can you get thorugh the first half of the game by just button mashing? The first CHAPTER was easy yeah, I was kind of disillusioned after hearing all the NG are the hardest games ever stuff, and finished the game without dying once and got a Master Ninja rank. But then things changed....Did you fight Genshin(Chapter 2)? Honestly, I just cannot believe you beat him by just mashing buttons...no way! am I going to believe that, yes even on the Acolyte setting. Now I don't know if it's as hard or harder than NG or NGB as I haven't played them.Anyway, whether it is a flop or a dud or a disater, I don't care...all I know is that I haven't had such a feeling of satisfaction when I beat a boss or cleared a tough level in a video game before. It's truly amazing! Cleared Chapter 5 last night(yeah, I'm a casual gamer with a f/t job and family, so that's all the time I get) and looking forward to more Ninja Action on the weeeknd:). Now I don't know what's in store further, but I, as an NG noob and from what I've experienced so far, can tell you that the game is not cheap at all! Quick reflexes, learn to use the block/counter,master the dodge-run run-dodge technique,when to use light slashes and when to use heavy ones, projectile spamming, when to jump to evade and when NOT to, look at enemy attack patterns, the reach of different enemies' attacks, when to use the Flying Swallow and when NOT to etc etc etc. I could defeat Genshin on my 13th try, but on that try..he could hit me only twice! and man was I thumping my fists in air...lol. This is what makes the game...in short...you have to play like a NINJA!. As for the Graphics...umm well...I think it does as good as it can be for such a hypersonic Ninja game. Oh, did I mention the Obliteration technique is so awesome!! Clearly a 9.0 for me and probably like the 3rd best game I've played on my 360. Cheers!

Wow for a NG noob you know a lot? Do you have a strategy guide helping you? Maybe the guy that beat it in 12 hours is a NG expert.

Ummm.no..I have no strategy guide helping me. All I did was disagree with the statement that "you can button mash your way through the first half"....right? Is that so hard to understand..really? Where did I say I knew more than that guy(who's an expert) or said that I'm an expert. I conceded myself that I'm a noob. Plain and simple thing--you can't button mash your way through the FIRST HALF...that's all...peace :). If anyone here or anywhere else for that matter can show me a video where he doesn't dodge adeptly and simply button mashes Y and X and beats Genshin on Chapter 2, I'll accept the button mashing statement.Have u even played the game by the way?

Assasins Creed

I'm quite happy with the rest I have. Never could get back into Oblivion, after spending about 50 hrs on it(I still haven't finished the main missions), but not really regret it. Oh, I'm also not so ecstatic about BioShock as most are(still got to finish it)

Crystal Skulls are for achievement points I think. I read the official list somewhere...it's like

10 for Karma of the Warrior

20 for something else..etc etc

@kiko1

Use the Dragon Sword against him. If you've upgraded it a level..then that's even better. I didn't upgrade it at the shop, this was my first time playing an NG game, didn't really know you could press Y for the blacksmith..lol..I know..pretty lazy. You just have to watch his moves, when he uses his dash attacks..dodge to the sides and use light slashes on him. When he readies up for his 4-5 hit combo, keep dodging and look for the last whiff in this combo, as soon as he finishes...bludgeon him with heavy slashes. Keep doing this, and you should emerge victirious. Even I died aboout 10-12 times before figuring this out. Oh and remember, DO NOT jump to avoid his attacks, he'll catch you. Also remember, ninpo doesn't work on him..he'll dodge everything. TO avoid attacks--only dodge and run.

For the record, this is my first NG game ever, and it's truly awesome! Definitely a 9.5 for me. Never have I had such a feeling of satisfaction after defeating a boss or getting thru a difficult level in a video game. Amazing stuff! Even though, I'm no NG veteran(i've not played NG,NGB or Sigma) but I'll say this to anyone who cries about the game's punishing difficulty...YOU JUST HAVE TO GET BETTER MY FRIEND...bottomline--play LIKE A NINJA!!

As someone who hasn't played NG1 or NGB, I'll say I am really really impressed!. I had always heard how NG games were the hardest games ever...so when I didn't die a single time! in the first chapter and got a Master Ninja rank, I was a bit disillusioned. But!! then the came the first miniboss in chapter 2 and I got my *** handled to me multiple times:). It was then that I really started paying attention on blocking, countering, when to jump...when to dodge, when to flying swallow, when to use ninpo etc etc, and I cleared that part. Then I met with Genshin, aaaah!! it took me 2 nights(I'm a casual gamer with a full time job and a family, so I play about an hour in the nights when I get the time). I was so damn frustrated!!...I couldn't even defeat the bugger with multiple health items and even one Talisman of Rebirth...then I got better:), dodging, countering, running, slashing...and on my final try I beat him while managing to get hit only twice!!..yay!. Last night I got to the chapter 3 boss, and well, it was game over in the first try. I'll try it again tonight. But what I've come to realize is that the only way to play NG2 is NO BUTTON MASHING, but being aware of anything and everything...quick reflexes, adept counters and of course the proper handling of the camera(which is annoying sometimes, honestly). It gives me a feeling of satisfaction which I've never experienced in a game before....truly magnificent! Oh, and did I mention how cool the finishing/obliteration moves are...wow!. Clearly a 9.5 in my opinion. By the way, I think the graphics are about as good as it can get for an ultra-sonic action game like this.
