@Timmy_Gwar @Onallion @l777l It's not cinematic indeed. And I doubt a pitch slider would work properly.
Someone linked the forum thread on Bioware's social site. Mr. Gaider stated that they intend to have the player character voiced. - And the selection of what to say is supposed to be more informative, while not showing the full text of what is to be said. That builds some trust. Though, having 6 - 8 different PC voices seems wildly implausible.
Dragon Age 2's biggest downfall, in my view, are the replicated environments. The characters are pretty good, and Jo Wyatts' Hawke is outstanding. Combat and animations are more impressive, visually and in terms of raw action. I guess a few subtleties of tactical nature got lost. But I have played this game several times, and went from disappointment to appreciation. It's the game I have replayed the most, this generation.
... I just hope that the player character will be voiced. Which seems doubtful. Another round of ridiculously awkward and dull silent hero(es) seems to be coming.
@loafofgame @Chr0noid "White straight males don't have to prove they're worthy to live in their white straight male society." ... You're probably wrong, Game. Just reflect on the sentence "Be a man."
@funkymonkey4710 @DrugSkill69 "Heterosexuals, Homosexuals are not generally accepted and face larger amounts of backlash, scrutiny, and have higher rates of suicide due to this in LGBT teens."
Check out the death rates of straight white males, including suicides.
