Well, just like the title says...we got more snow. I went out of town yesterday, and the town I went to was only two hours away from where I live. On our way back home it took us three hours to get home because the roads were so bad. We're supposed to be getting more snow tonight. As you probably already know, I hate the snow. I don't think we need anymore snow, but mother nature thinks we do. I just can't stand it anymore. The only thing I'm hoping for is another school cancellation but I don't think that's gonna happen.
My school had a delayed start today because of all the snow that we've gotten. But I didn't go to school because I had no ride. My mom had to go to work. So I got to stay home.:) We're supposed to be getting another storm this weekend. I'm really starting to get sick of the snow. I hate winter. I hate being cold. The only good part of winter are snow days and Christmas. But we've had so much snow in the past week, and we're supposed to get up to 20 inches more by the end of the weekend. I can't stand the snow!! I'm amazed that it hasn't been snowing in my dreams lol.
Well, today was a very stormy day. There was snow and it was really windy and cold. I think they should've cancelled school again lol. I'm serious tho. When my mom was bringing me to school, the roads were so icy that we slid into the other lane. It was pretty freaky. It's supposed to snow again tonight and get windy tomorrow. Some people are saying that we won't have school tomorrow, but my school is so dumb. They won't call it off when they really should.
On Saturday I'm going out of town to do some SHOPPING!!! I'm so excited. I love shopping. Not only that, but the town I'm going to has a Big Boy. And I love Big Boy. Their burgers are so good, but they're HUGE! Last time I was there I couldn't finish the burger that I had lol.
Here's another question of the day. What do you hope to get for Christmas? I hope to get a labtop, because I really need one. My sister hogs the computer, and I think it's time I get one. I also want this $300 video camera that I saw at Wal-mart. It's pretty cool. There are other little things that I want too, like CDs, clothes, jewelery, and stuff like that.
Well, we did have a snow day today!:):) It was so cool. I woke up at 6 a.m. and looked out the window. The wind was blowing so bad that I couldn't even see my neighbor's house! It was so cool! So I spent the day lounging around, eating junk food, and I watched the Jonas Brothers perform on Regis and Kelly. Then I fell asleep around 10:30 and woke up at 11. But it felt so good that we had a snow day already. Last year we had our first snow day of the year in October before Halloween. I thought that was pretty weird but cool. But today was a good day, and I think that my school still has 1/2 day tomorrow.:)
Well, today is Monday, which means back to school for me.:( The good thing is that I got 1/2 day on Wednesday.:) We're supposed to be getting this big snow storm tonight, so I'm really hoping there's a snowday tomorrow, but there probably won't be. But I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed.
Schoolwise, I got my AlgebraII quiz back todayand I got a 73% on that, and I got my Chemistry test back today and I got a 74% on that. I thought I was gonna do much better on my Chemistry than I did, but oh well.
At my house, we got our Christmas tree up already. I know it's really early but we always put our tree up the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so then we don't have to worry about it. We even have all of our Christmas decorations up inside and outside the house. All we need now is snow, but I hate snow. I never really liked winter because it's so cold. But I love Christmas, and I can't wait for it!
Here's the question of the day. What career do you want to pursue once you're out of high school? If you're already out of high school, what career did you pursue?
Once I get out of high school, I wanna become some kind ofwriter. I love to write. I don't know how I got into it, but I love it and I'm really good at it. I write a lot of fanfictions and then a lot of stories of my own. I also love writing poems and song lyrics. I have a lot of those in progress that I'll be amazed if I ever get them all finished lol.
Okay, I know all or most of you Jonas Brothers fans saw Joe fall during their performance on the AMAs. When I saw it I thought it was supposed to happen, but then I found out that it wasn't planned. Joe got hurt during that fall too. I found this on someone's youtube profile and it came straight from Joe. Check it out!
"So the introduction started and we could hear the fans screaming and running down to the stage. When the glass broke we started walking through. On the way through I slipped and fell downon my hands and knees. When I looked up I saw one of our fans, Alexa from Mexico and the smile on her face, as well as the faces of the other fans. This let me know that I had to get right up and perform for them. Once I got up it was so much fun! I decided to give everything I had.
After the performance I got back to the dressing room. Someone said, 'Joe, you're bleeding!' I had felt some pain but had no idea there was so much blood. I noticed that my white suit had blood on the knees. I also had cuts on my hands. We called the medic and they cleaned up my knee and hands.
After we changed clothes we headed back to our seats. Everyone greeted us when we walked in and told us that it was awesome that we got up and performed our hearts out!"
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so excited for the food lol. I don't know if I'll be able to get on the computer tomorrow so I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! It's also my sister's 19 Birthday tomorrow, and my grandma is bringing her a cake to the pot luck that I'm going to. I hope everyone has a great holiday! Talk to you later!:)
Today, we had a lockdown drill at our school. For me, I working in the library at the time, and there was a c.l.a.s.s. in there at the time. So me and the other two library aides Hailey and Tanya had to go into the small work room, and the c.l.a.s.s. that was in the library at the time had to get split into the audio room that's in the library and this room where we put all the old magazines. During the drill the kids in the room where we put all the old magazines were talking so loud, and they were screaming. Hailey, Tanya, and I were saying that if it was the real thing, those kids would've been shot ten times over. It was ridiculous. They were sixth graders I think, so they probably didn't think that it was much of a big deal. To me, it is a big deal. My school has six doors to the school, and it would be so easy for someone to walk in with a gun. It kinda scares me a little bit because we had a bomb threat last year and it was the first year that the school was evacuated for something like that. We had had bomb threats at the school before then but the school was never evacuated till last year. And I talk to my friends every now and then about the fact that somebody could come into the school with the gun without anyone seeing, and it still scares me. The school thinks it safe, but I honestly don't think it is. I've talked to some of the teachers about this and they still think the school is safe. I still think that anyone could come into the school and just start shooting. It's scary. Every time someone who doesn't go to the school or has nothing to do with the school comes in, they have to go to the office and get a Visitor's Pass, but I think people could just walk by the office and forget about that. The middle school is connected with the high school so we have a lot more kids to try to keep safe. Actually, if I remember right, we did have akid bring a gun to the schoolwhen I was in theeighth grade. I'm not sure if I'm remembering it right, but I think that's what happened. I know the kid got expelled, but the school let him come back about a year and a half later. So he's back at my school, and he may have been gone for awhile and he could've changed, but that really doesn't mean anything to me. If he could bring a gun to school once, he could do it again.

I am so excited for Thanksgiving. It's one of my favorite holidays (Christmas is first). I get together with my family that I never see because they live out of town, and it's great to see them again after almost a year or two. My aunt and uncle are coming into town so it's gonna be good to see them. I haven't seen them since July. I'm going to a pot luck at the bar that my grandparents own and I challenged my other aunt's boyfriend to a game of pool. I haven't played pool since last New Years Eve, so I'm hoping I'm still pretty good at it lol. The best part of Thanksgiving is all the food you get to eat. I love turkey, corn, my grandma's stuffing is to die for. My ultimate favorite food at Thanksgiving are mashed potatoes drenched in butter...YUM!!!!!!:)
